    I have a TV that has a 1080p display and I'm wondering do I need to upgrade to a TV that supports HDMI 2.1 in order to use the series x? I know the series x will come with HDMI 2.1 cables so will those cables work with standard HDMI input/output?

    Best controller for small hands?

    I'm looking for a good small controller for my 4 year old. I've looked into the PowerA mini controller and the Hyperkin X91. Hyperkin looks too wide for her hands and the powerA has extremely mixed reviews. The only positive reviews are mainly "looks great but havent used it" and the rest are a variation of "my kid who can't be gentle with his things broke it in a month" reviews. Are there any others that I have missed or are these the only 2 options for mini controllers?

    I've had my Xbox for a long time (3-5 years) and recently it broke. I plan on getting the newest Xbox later this year but right now I want a temporary kind of thing. If I get an Xbox one S will I be able to upgrade for free/cheaper later this year? What other benefits do I get with the Xbox one S? Thanks.

    Xbox Series X and Virtual Reality

    I am really excited for the Xbox Series X after the recent announcement by Phil Spencer regarding some of the capabilities of the new console.

    I am also really excited for the release of Valve's welcome return to the Half Life universe with the upcoming March 23rd release of Half Life: Alyx. Valve has a long history of pushing cutting edge features into their games which have reverberated through the gaming industry for years after their game's initial release.

    Unfortunately, I don't have a VR rig (as yet), so I won't be losing myself in HL: A anytime soon. However, both the Xbox Series X and HL: A got me thinking about the future.

    If HL: A plays as good as it looks, I really do think HL: A will represent an inflection point for VR gaming which will have broader implications for the gaming industry in as a whole. I see HL: A showing the world what is possible with VR and as a result, the game will be used as inspiration by other game developers as they push new ideas into their own VR titles.

    I'm essence, if HL: A is as successful as we all hope it will be, then I see VR becoming much more prominent within the gaming community over the next 2 to 5 years.

    With this thought in mind, I would love to see Microsoft develop a VR headset (if it's even possible from a hardware perspective) for the Xbox Series X to take advantage of the potential growing VR market that I think we'll see happen post the release of HL: A and subsequent titles from other games studies who will (hopefully) see what Valve has done with HL: A and push the boundaries of VR even further.

    Are the rubber parts of the Xbox Elite controller (1st version) sold individually anywhere?

    So I've got that Elite controller, unfortunatly over the summer the outer part of rubber on the right side widened massively and at last even fallen off so I haven't used it due to that being rather annoying and me not really playing games where the controller really makes a difference. Now I thought about changing the rubber part but I'm not sure if I can purchase the rubber thing only...

    My roommate spilled soda on my controller and now some of the buttons stay down extra long when pressed. Any have a good way of fixing this short of opening it up, because I'm pretty sure I'd break my controller if I tried that.

    I'm wanting to add some custom AYBX buttons and a front shell, I know the shell is pretty much pried off and pop on,

    but I'm guessing the buttons are a lot trickier to get to?

    has anyone done this? does anyone have a link to a guide/video (can't find one anywhere)

    Help with Port Forwarding

    I'm trying to set up some port forwarding rules to stream my Xbox One to my laptop away from home. I've followed a bunch of different tutorials and I still can't get it to work. The only difference I'm seeing is that when I enter the ports into Netgear Genie, I can only enter external and internal start ports. I have no option to enter the end ports and they aren't even shown after I click apply. What do I do?

    Also, I'm working with a Netgear Nighthawk R7000.

    My updates and queued downloads disappear

    It's not a big issue but it has been annoying. My updates and downloads disappear from the queue tab (it doesn't get rid of the progress ) and I have to launch the game I'm downloading to resume the download, is there any way to fix this ?

    Game purchasing error

    I've been (obsessively) playing Oblivion on the Xbox Game Pass for the last few weeks. Unfortunately they've taken it off Game Pass as of today. I tried to purchase it through the Xbox store but got the error message "Sorry, your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." I've tried buying it on my PC, changed my credit card information, and used a VPN to change my location. I chatted with support and they suggested I go out and buy an Xbox 360... so they were less than helpful. Any help would be appreciated!
