    New Xbox update killing External Drives?

    I recently went to go into my xbox like normal and when I sign in my external drive which has worked fine for the last 2 years seems to not be working. The blue light is flashing as normal. When I plug it into a pc it isnt recognized either. Any help?

    EDIT: This seems to be an issue as I look on Twitter and see people say them same thing I'm saying

    So, you know how in you're games and apps it shows all the square titles/covers, some of mine are just black all the sudden (4 yesterday 8 today), I can still play the games but it's very annoying. Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix?

    So i been reading that a lot of people had this new UI for an month and others just got the new UI. Uh how exactly? Shouldn't the new UI come out for everyone at once instead of this month span? Also how do i change back to the old UI if i wanted to?

    Just found out hat I can play certain xbox games on my pc. However can I use my same account to play a game on xbox and pc simultaneously?

    For example can I play sea of thieves on my pc, while my son plays roblox on the Xbox? With both of us using the same account and gamer tag?

    After I did the latest dashboard update I noticed that the audio sounded quite different in my headphones when just browsing the dashboard. It sounded a bit more "spatial" than usual, but also more tinny and hollow. When I went into the audio settings, the headphone setting had been changed from Dolby Atmos to Windows Sonic.

    When I attempted to change the setting back to Dolby Atmos, it said that I had to download the app first, but it was already downloaded. It would not let me select Dolby Atmos because of this. To fix it, I launched the Atmos app and ran through the settings again, which then takes you to the console's audio settings and I was then able to select Dolby Atmos.

    This seems to be a bug in the update, as I've seen quite a few posts about this, so yeah - if you use Dolby Atmos for headphones, check your audio settings!

    Please Help! Freezing at Startup Screen

    My xbox one S out of nowhere has been experiencing freezing problems whenever I try to turn it on. I hard hard reset it multiple times but it either freezes at the green screen or just stays gray indefinitely. The one time i managed to make it to the home screen, it froze when i tried to browse games. Called Xbox customer support and they recommended doing a factory reset (which i did both online and offline) but the console still cannot make it through the start up screen without freezing or crashing. I cant even put in my information to log back in without it freezing over and over again. Btw I bought this xbox in August, it has not even been a year since i got it.

    Xbox support recommended just buying a new xbox or sending it in for repair ($200+
    ) which I want to try to avoid.

    I have no idea what caused this problem but I cant seem to figure out how to fix it. Has this happened to other? Is there really no other option than to spend more money?

    Cant block or report

    So I get a lot of hate messages and just people being all around douches - I've noticed that I can no longer report or block people. When I got to report and select appropriate reason it just stays at that screen, you can click the reason million times and it will click and sounds and all but nothing happens. I try to block players and I continue to get just nasty hate messages Why can I no long block or report

    I want to play gta v with my friends who are on Xbox but im on PC. and If i were to buy xbox game pass for pc and played gta v on there would I be able to play GTA V with my friend who are on Xbox while im on PC?

    Will getting a month of xbox game pass ultimate cancel my xbox live gold?

    It says that it converts your xbox live gold to xbox game pass ultimate, but not long renewed my 12 month sub to xbox live gold. So wondering if I cancel my xbox game pass ultimate just before the month is over would it get rid of my xbox live?
