    My son loves chasing achievements, so I created a gamerscore-type rewards system. He seems to really like it and has managed about 80% completion in three days.

    Long post incoming.. I'll try to keep this as brief as possible but there are a good amount of details necessary to explain in order for the whole picture to be understood.

    Back when Xbox All Access was announced, I was immediately interested in getting it - it was essentially a better deal (after you crunch all the numbers) to get a new console with Game Pass Ultimate, and it allowed me to upgrade to the Xbox Series X in a year's time at no extra cost. Count me in!

    I tried signing up Day One right when it went live on Amazon, but also immediately started having issues. For the sign up process, you need to get approved for a loan from CitizensOne. Amazon had a portal to allow you to do this, where after doing so you would, theoretically, continue on with the process of buying the console. Nope.. I was told that my application was unable to be processed and to wait to hear back from CitizensOne, or to call a number they gave.

    After a couple hours of no new news, I finally called the number they provided. Somehow after more than an hour on the phone I was able to make an account on their site for the loan, but with nothing listed in the account. But I had no way to buy a console on Amazon. If I went to the console listing it would just tell me I need to reapply, which I was told not to do.

    I found myself over the course of the next week calling CitizensOne and Amazon going in circles. Neither side knew how to help the other and no one knew how to proceed. Hell, Amazon never even knew what Xbox All Access was for the entirety of this process! By some miracle, and I still don't know to this day how, but I got a notification from Amazon's site that the Xbox I applied for was in my cart ready to be ordered. I quickly went to checkout, and it had a MasterCard belonging to CitizensOne as the payment option to use.

    It worked! And I actually got the console to boot! An Xbox One X with 2 years of Xbox Games Pass Ultimate with the option to upgrade to the Series X next year! I thought all I would have to do from here on out was pay it off month by month. Things are only getting started though..

    I found it odd that the CitizensOne site I made an account for, even after getting the console, didn't have any balances or amounts on it. Everything was 0, basically saying I owed nothing. It stayed this way for a solid month before I started getting concerned. I didn't want to have some legal action coming on me for not making payments, have this screwing up my credit rating, or anything way worse than this. Also, I wanted to get the Series X next year, and had to hit a certain amount of payments!

    So I started trying calling CitizensOne, and to no one's shock, kept running in circles. They kept telling me they have tickets open investigating this, but it has been like this for weeks now. I WANT to pay them, but have no way to do so. To this day my CitizensOne account is still zeroed out and they have made absolutely no progress. I recorded my final call to them just to have it as a record that I have been trying in good faith to pay them, but they aren't letting me do that. The way I see it now is I, by some strange turn of events, got myself a free Xbox One X and 2 years of Game Pass.

    This isn't really a post asking for help or advice, or on how to figure this all out, it's really just a warning to anyone out there that this system is fundamentally broken on both Amazon and CitizensOne's sides. Also to see if anyone else out there has experienced this in any capacity. I'd be terrified to see what the upgrade process to the Series X would be like down the road honestly, but at this point it doesn't really look like that will be happening. Thanks to anyone that read this in it's entirety!

    TL;DR - Xbox All Access is a really cool idea in practice, but because it is broken across the board it has become a nightmare for me.

    I have had this xbox 1 s for over a year and all of a sudden when i tried to go into Netflix it started to static in parts of the screen and make a loud noise like an old radio. I am still able to navigate through menus and such. but the screen will go dark for a few seconds as if the hdmi came unplugged but it is fully plugged in. Idk what to do , has anyone else had this problem? Edit: I have since found a solution by unplugging and plugging back in. Thank you to anyone who tried to help below!

    Fsctory reset daily

    I have to factory reset my xbox almost every single day and at first I thought it had to do with my xbox just getting old. But I went to stay at my parents to watch their dogs for 2 weeks while they were on vacation and not once did I have to reset my xbox there, any reason why?

    Can anyone tell me why blu rays/Netflix look so much worse on my Xbox one X compared to the Netflix app on my TV?

    Xbox Has Overheated Twice even though it has perfect room to ventilate. On the right side of the Xbox, these small holes seem to have dust in them. Could this be the reason?

    Help! I can’t get my headphones to work with controller

    I'm plugging my headphones into 3,5mm jack and nothing good happens: sound is still working from the TV and i can also hear something from headphones very badly. Is here a problem with console or headphones? Or just me doing something wrong?
