Tech savvy help needed. At witts end. Posted: 09 Jan 2020 10:14 AM PST Lately I have been getting the same error code when launching games and apps (took too long to start). I have been having this issue for a month now and everything I read says that a simple power cycle or clearing of persistent storage should solve this. After doing both of these, the problem will start again in the next few hours or so. I am at a loss what could be causing this. I game share with my brother. Could it be some sort of license issue? I have also heard that a game file can become corrupt but I'm not sure what file it could be. It just started doing this out of nowhere. Appreciate the help guys! [link] [comments]

What should I do with my Day One xbox one? Posted: 09 Jan 2020 12:11 PM PST Hi redditors, I've got a broken Day One Xbox one. Curious if this should be held on to, try to sell for parts, or is it essentially useless? Thanks [link] [comments]

USA Xbox gift card use in Canada? Posted: 09 Jan 2020 07:33 AM PST So I recently got an Amazon.com gift card. I can't think of a damn think I need from Amazon but would like to get like a $50 xbox card. I live in Canada though. If I buy a gift card on there it would be for the US, would I still be able to use it in Canada? I read on a very old post that I would just have to set my location settings to the USA or something to use it. But it was old so I wanted to see if I could still possibly do this. Thanks! XBONE won't turn on after power failure Posted: 09 Jan 2020 04:30 AM PST Hi! I was playing CoD this morning, during a mild storm outside, and there was a very brief power failure. I'm not sure if it was a proper failure even. The lights flickered, but my Xbox turned off and it won't turn on again. The power adapter is working I think. It still lights green. Is it dead? Has it happened to anyone else here who got it working again? Thanks! [link] [comments]

Planning to sell Xbox, what do I need to do so the other person isn’t able to use my account? Posted: 09 Jan 2020 02:12 AM PST Hey y'all so I was planning to sell my Xbox 360 (I know barely right) and I was wondering do I have to clear out all my storage so that the person who buys the console won't have access to my account/save data?? I still have an Xbox one so I'm not quite sure how that will affect it either. Outside of save data to the backwards compatible games like Borderlands [link] [comments]

Any way to redeem these old "Xbox Microsoft Point" gift cards Posted: 08 Jan 2020 07:02 PM PST These are at least a decade old, and I never used them because I don't have an xbox (uncle bought them for me without realizing) https://i.imgur.com/8jLKEC5.jpg Since they are so old, I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't valid anymore (although there is not an expiration date listed on them). I still don't play xbox though Any advice? [link] [comments] |
