"You've been playing for X hours" Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:18 PM PST I will literally turn my 360 on, nobody else touches it, and as soon as I start a game it will say I've played for 1 hour, if the game has to update, it will say I've been playing 2 hours, literally 1 minute after I started it, can anyone explain what's happening, or tell me how to turn those specific notifications off? Edit: this is all in the course of 5 minutes after turning it on. [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Jan 2020 10:14 AM PST Just tried using the HDMI port on my white 360 and found it doesn't work. Any way to fix this or is it back to using AV? [link] [comments]
Can anyone recommend a wireless controller dongle? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:20 PM PST I have been using my 360 contollers (wireless) for my 360 and my PC for years now. After almost ten years, my wireless dongle that lets me use the controllers on pc has crapped out. I've searched online and have found a few official Microsoft branded dongles, but they are really expensive. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck using the 3rd party wireless receivers? I've thought about upgrading to xb one controllers, but seems expensive and unnecessary being that I have 4 controllers for the 360. Any input is appreciated. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:14 AM PST So I was playing Far Cry 3 then suddenly no audio at all. I have tried some suggestions online but it didn't help. Does it mean my Xbox 360 is packing up? Am scared [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 11:55 PM PST I'm sure that literally none of you need to be told not to buy Chinese knockoffs, but here it is, my mom bought a wireless 360 receiver with a controller for xmas so I could play steam games on my PC with a controller style I know and love. I knew ahead of time that a real 360 controller wouldn't connect to the receiver, but I didn't know it would be this bad. The controller as soon as I opened and started using it made Witcher 3 spin endlessly; I opened the battery compartment and blew on it, smacked it a few times and such, only for it to stop spinning but often make my character walk backwards or the controller to disconnect SPECIFICALLY during combat, killing my character. I checked out the amazon listing for it, and one guy in the questions and answers section said that when his controller broke, he was bribed with giftcards to still leave a good review. Edit: It does the same thing on my console too, there has been no difference every time I try it. TLDR; don't buy this 360 wireless PC/console receiver [link] [link] [comments]
Bioshock is ruining me with 60 fps. Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:40 AM PST It may not be 60, but it's the only title I've found that let me uncap the fps on my 360. Happy Gaming. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:05 AM PST I'm wondering what model 360 fairs particularly well standing vertically. I usually lay my consoles horizontally. But, I'm asking those of you that stand them vertically and have used them that way a long time, what console do you have/ model? [link] [comments]
