I keep getting the message "you'll need internet for this" along with the error code 0x800704cf. I've played the game offline plenty in the past week and other single player games work. | Download speed slow/fluctuating on Xbox only. Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:35 PM PST Recently picked up Red Dead Redemption II to start of 2020 with a nice new game to play. But, when downloading my download speed has slowed to a crawl, occasionally boosting up to my actual paid for speed of 20Mbps, but generally stays at 2Mbps, even sometimes lower then 1Mbps, going down to Kbps. No, I don't have apps or games running in the background. No, this doesn't happen with any of my other devices. (Phone, Computer, etc) If it's of any relevance, I have a wired connection. I don't know if there is a way to fix this, or if it's even a big problem. This has been going on for the past few games I've downloaded or updated. (For reference, I preordered and began downloading The Outer Worlds a week before it's release date back in October, and after the entire week had been done with, the game had still not yet been fully downloaded) so it has been bugging me for a while. Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:16 AM PST I bought Spotify yesterday solely for the Xbox app. With my setup I can only listen to music or game sound with Apple Music so I figured I would go Spotify instead to use the Xbox app. Throughout the songs you can hear the volume dip and rise every few minutes and it sounds like it's coming solely from the right speakers. It works fine but when running music only and not using the Xbox app. Has anyone had this issue? It's a Sonos 5.1 system setup with ARC. [link] [comments] | ||

Here's the issue: Every disc works fine in my console except this one game (Rare Replay) so you would think it's the disc, right? Well, the disc is flawless and even works perfectly fine in a friend's xbox. I've tried everything from uninstalling/reinstalling (both online and offline) the game, removing my account from the Xbox entirely, starting from internal and external storage, starting from my girlfriend's account, still nothing. The two answers I've gotten from support is to either buy another disc, or subscribe to Xbox Game Pass. It's really frustrating when they tell me to buy another disc when it works fine in a different Xbox. I should also not that I've never have a Game Pass subscription. Any help would be appreciated. | Switched Elite 2 controllers between Best Buy and WalMart Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:33 PM PST I ordered an Elite 2 at an out-of-state Best Buy since all local ones were sold out, and knew I could pick it up during a business trip. However, when in a different out-of-state town the week before, there was ONE LEFT, and being impatient and confirming I could return, I bought it. I picked up the other permanent one from BB the week later, since I want BB's insurance policy. However, I mixed the controllers up and returned the BB controller to WM in the WM box. So now I have the WM controller and a BB box. If I need to ever exchange the controller at BB under the accidental damage insurance, will I have any issues with serial numbers or anything? | Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:11 PM PST Hi, I've got a bit of a niche issue here, this month I'm moving into a sharehouse with a few friends and our xbox is going to get plugged into the living room tv for most games and for netflix etc. I play elite dangerous and use the thrustmaster HOTAS which is going to be strapped to my desk chair, rather than wheeling my desk chair out into the living room which is wildly impractical: TLDR How can I stream the Xbox to my pc and use the hotas which is normally wired and doesn't have enough cable to get to the tv/xbox? | Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:01 PM PST Could someone help me out with this? I've had EA Access for a while and everything has always worked great, specifically BF4 premium was working. After I did a factory reset on my console, I can no longer get BF4 premium to work. It just keeps telling me to buy the expansions. I installed BF4 premium and up until I actually start the game everything looks right, and says it's included with EA Access. However, none of the premium stuff actually works. Also, the EA Access menu on the Xbox OS no longer functions. It used to function like the Game Pass menu, now it just tells me 'Games will be included here'. I did try and sign up through that 'claim your prize thing' because I did accidentally let my subscription lapse. But now I am subscribed again so I don't understand what's going on. I never had to use the EA Hub app before, it was all just accessible through the Xbox dashboard. Also, none of the premium equipment is available anymore either.' It is even telling me BF4 premium is installed and I did download the expansions. But shouldn't the equipment be available anyway even if I didn't D/L the expansions? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
