| Posted: 04 Jan 2020 12:14 PM PST Confirmed the issue with the Microsoft store. Repair was $250+tax and wait time whereas a new bundle is only $349+tax but no wait. I figure it will be very easy to just swap the drive out though based on my past experiences and research I've done. I am curious, however, to your suggestions for a drive. Would love an SSD but most likely can't afford anything near the storage I would like (at least 2TB), so I'm leaning towards a hybrid drive. Does anybody have any suggestions on which drive to go with? I've seen suggestions on the Seagate Firecuda but I'm not sure which model would be best. Amazon links appreciated (For those wondering, console initially had an E102 error and would not restore, would not recognize offline update files. We managed to get it to restore after about 2 days worth of attempts, only for it to work for 6 hours and stop working again. Now we get an E105 error. It started when it gave me the error code 80151904, which I think meant that I was banned, I looked up fixes online, and found a method that said to roll back my update which I did. After I did, it restarted my xbox, but did not download the update it still refused to connect to the internet. AND all the profiles on my console now are white silhouettes, and I can not change the avatars. I really need to know what to do to fix this. I just want my xbox to be back to normal. Sadly I only have a macbook air so nothing would run for me without it overheating. I've recently moved in with my boyfriend and he has an xbox that I can use to play, but I don't know what games to start with. I have terrible hand-eye coordination and need to get used to using a controller. I want to play difficult, strategic games that are visually pleasing (I lose interest easily if there's not much thought that needs to be put into the game itself other than controls). I really want to be able to play dark souls but I've watched enough of it to know not to throw myself into it as my first game. I'm willing to just pick a game that is "easy" and just push for a bit until I'm used to a controller, but I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for games that allow you to get used to controls but still have strategy involved. Maybe something slower paced? I don't know. I just wanted to put my preferences out and see what people who have played recommend to someone new to the community. The S's and X's can't and won't do it. They do however Smoothly run Spotify as you play. Otherwise there's not any other way to play your music as you play without getting extremely complicated.b Let me save you some time and just believe my research lol. Im keeping good care of it and after about a month, the micro USB port becomes so loose that the wire won't stick in there anymore. It seems like they've designed the controller for wireless and completely forgotten that some people have to use a wire ( I'm a PC user, not console ). Are there any controllers out there that dont break within 2 seconds in this way? I'm buying only official xbox one wireless controllers and have had nothing but poorly built pieces of crap. Before you say anything, I'm aware that I'm the biggest fucking retard to ever live. The charging light on my headset comes in when I try to charge it but it won't work other than that. For Christmas this year I got a blue yeti nano along with a few things to try and help me set it up correctly. I've watched all the YouTube videos explaining how the mic works perfectly on twitch or mixer streams. Right now I have all the wires needed (besides the headset adapter) and it's not working in party chat. My setup is: Elite controller with splitter plugged into the 3.5mm Mic plugged into one side and headphones in the other The blue yeti is plugged into my pc (I've tried plugging it into the Xbox as well) From what I've read of past people talking about this... they say even though the elite has a 3.5mm port, that you still need the adapter for it to work. But all of this has been for people trying to stream on twitch or mixer whereas I want to talk in party chat with the mic Please send me all the info you've got! Thank you!! [link] [comments] |
