    At first it was making the sound to indicate it was turning on but the white light did not show. Hard reset it and now it’s turning on but for a short time then turning off. The power bank is orange but goes white when tried on the separate Xbox so not too sure what to do.

    I just picked up an Xbox One X. I was planning on pairing it with a BenQ EW3270U 32' gaming monitor. I only plan on using the monitor I grab for the Xbox One X. Can you recommend a better 16:9 monitor around the same size (29-34 inches)? I'm not worried about price.

    Unable to log into Xbox account unless given parental consent? I'm eighteen!

    I just tried to log into my Xbox to watch YouTube like I do every night, and all the sudden I'm hit with a pop-up telling me that I've played too long, and that I need to ask for parental consent for more time. I recently turned eighteen, and my parents and I are not even on speaking terms, so there is no way they're gonna take me off of their family.

    Is there any way at all to fix this? I even contacted Xbox support, and they said they need the email from my parent's account to remove it.

    I'm on my 3rd defective elite controller in a row. How can I guarantee I'll get a working one on the fourth?

    I preordered the elite series 2 controller on Amazon back in july and waited until I got it in November when it released. I was so stoked because my previous elite controller has the rubber peeling off and the A button is a little loose due to wear over the past two years of rocket league almost every day.

    After using the controller for a couple of minutes I realized my boost kept cutting out randomly when I was driving. Upon further inspection I realized the B button would not register when the button was fully depressed unless you hard pressed in the middle of the button. I opened up the Xbox accessories testing app and realized it was only this button that wasnt registering and all others were working properly.

    I contacted support and they set me up to mail it in and for them to send me a new one. After a week mailing mine in and another week waiting for theirs to get to me I thought everything would be fine. I used the controller for about an hour before I realized that rapid presses of the 'A' button would cause it to stick in place. I really didnt want to wait another two weeks to get a new controller so I checked to see if there was a microsoft store on the island (I live in Hawaii). I called to check if they could do an exchange in store. They said they could so I traded it in and paid the extra 20 dollars for the warranty to get 3 years of coverage since I was already having issues.

    I tested this 3rd controller in store on an xbox that had rocket league to make sure everything was in working order and everything seemed fine. I went home and started playing and realized that after playing for about an hour or so that something felt off whenever going for kickoff in rocket league. I thought maybe I was just playing poorly and there really isnt any issue. But after a while of playing I realized something weird was going on so I jumped into freeplay and started driving without touching the left stick and my car started drifting off to the right.

    Open up the Xbox Accessories app and realized that after moving the left stick about 70% of the time it isnt fully registering at the neutral point, its sitting a little to the right and registering some offset input.

    I returned to the microsoft store to try to do another exchange but they do not have any more in stock and cannot do anything until they get some more and have no idea when that will be. I really do not want to send my controller in for another two weeks mailing back and forth to roll the dice on whether I'll get another defective one. I updated the deadzone in rocket league and the controller is usable now but its pretty ridiculous that I've spent 180 dollars on a controller that I have to make some compromise on.

    I just want some kind of guarantee that I'm not gonna get another broken controller for the fourth one. I cant be the only one having this many issues.

    TLDR; Preordered xbox elite series 2 controller back in july, got a defective one, I have exchanged two more times for a different defect each time. I'm looking for this to gain some attention because I feel like other people have to be having similar issues. I just want to know I'm not wasting my time when trading in for a 4th elite series 2 controller in a month.

    Anyone know why my game clip recordings would only record for about 2-3 seconds? I have it set for 2:00.

    I don't record often and have auto game clip recording off (looking at you, GTAV), but when I manually record something noteworthy it sometimes only captures a few seconds of footage. It's really frustrating 😡

    Does that happen to anyone else?

    Just went out and bought a new external disk drive cause the one I had stopped working came home decided to try it one last time and it started working again. Now am wondering if I should return the new one and just get a new controller and some games with the cash instead. Any suggestions?
