    Warranty expired before purchase

    Hey everyone, I'm on mobile so forgive my formatting. I've been trying to deal with this for the past week and Xbox Chat Support is getting me no where and I can't get connected via the phone for some reason.

    Within the last week, I attempted to power on my Xbox One X just to watch some TV. TV showed 'No Signal,' so I did the normal thing, replaced the HDMI cord three times, made sure it was seated correctly, tried another monitor, and still, no signal.

    No problem, seems like a warranty issue, and seems like others have had the issue, so I go ahead and attempt to file a warranty claim, just to find that my warranty expired on 1/1/20 and they want me to pay $250 to get it repaired. Now normally if this was the case, I wouldn't have a problem but I didn't purchase the Xbox until 4/10/20, a good four months after the warranty expired!

    Little background on the purchase, it was purchased from Meijer using a Chase Credit card for $314.99. It was factory sealed, new in box.

    Going circles with the live agents they tell me to get a receipt from Meijer, so I reach out online, on the phone and in person at the location i got it from, and each time I'm informed they only hold receipts for 21 days. And at this point, the chat is essentially telling me "tough luck."

    Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't feel I should have to pay for an issue that should be covered under the warranty I should be getting. I'm getting tired of waiting hours to connect to a representative just to be told the same thing. Thanks for any advice in advanced.

    TLDR: Xbox One X warranty expired before I purchased it, Microsoft refuses to do anything since I'm unable to obtain a. receipt due to the original place of purchase only holds them for 21 days.

    I'm also interested in trying Dead Space 2 And Silent Hill Downpour

    I will be getting a 4K tv but its not HDMI 2.1. Will 4K still work on series x?? (As you can quess,im not best with technology :P )

    You're Too Early Glitch

    I have had Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare for years now and i just went to play it and it is saying You are too early got to microsoft store to check the launch date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and restarted my xbox. Can anyone help. All my friends are playing it perfectly fine.

    But of course I'm using the same profile I bought the digital game with. I tried uninstalling the game and now it won't even let me reinstall the game without buying it again.

    I'm not even sure this is the right sub for this type of question but if anyone could even point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

    How do external drives work on xbox?

    Pardon a noob question perhaps but I was wondering how do external drives work? Can you play games out of them or you have to do the copy/paste thing? Asking because I have slow internet so would love to not download games all the time. The expansion card is too expensive IMO but something like this would be ok if I can copy the games to the console in a reasonable amount of time

    EDIT: Sorry asking for the next gen. Would the external drive work on next gen too?

    Have Xbox One X and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate until June 2022

    I have ( well my son has, but I pay!) an Xbox One X, that was purchased outright from Amazon, and I also have a GamePass Ultimate prepaid until June 2022.

    I see that buying the new X Series console you can make an interest free bundle with GamePass Ultimate.

    Is there any option I have with my existing subscription to reduce the monthly cost, or it the best option to just trade in the Xbox One X?

    Live in the Uk, in case that makes a difference.

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate upgrade

    Sorry in advance as I know this question was probably asked 1000 times before but I can't see any answers to this specific scenario. I have 2 years loaded for Xbox Live Gold (Brazil subscription but I'm in Australia). I've previously used up the $1 upgrade with 3 months left on my XBLG subscription so that was a waste. I've read that you can upgrade the XBLG subscription to XBGPU again using a 1 week XBGP subscription but the question I have is does it need to be from the same region as the XBLG subscription ie Brazil or can it be an Australia XBGPU subscription?

    Thanks in advance! Can't wait for Tuesday to have my XBSX 😆

    • Does xbox live gold include 2 free monthly games? (Like ps plus does)
    • How does the game pass work?
    • What is the USB-C port on the back of the controller for? Doesn't the controller use aa batteries?
