| Posted: 11 Feb 2022 12:10 PM PST I Have gone through 3 controllers now in the life of my Xbox one. All eventually developed a stick drift and I'm tired of spending $60-$80 just for the unfixable problem to occur again after 6 months to 2 years of use. I had a ps2 before Xbox one and I'm baffled that my ps2 controllers, being a console generation older, never had this issue once. They also still have amazing battery life. A rechargeable internal battery btw, something Xbox only offers in the elite controllers or a sold separately battery pack turd that will no longer hold charge at all after 3 years (speaking from experience). So, my current controller in fact has a terrible stick drift that I've put up with for far to long and I'm looking for an alternative. How is the longevity of the elite series 2? I've heard it's no different. Has anyone used the SCUF controller for a long period of time? Or does anyone know of a controller that is worth a s&!@ as far as longevity for Xbox one? Rocket league won't even load. My internet is the fastest available with the best modem available for xfinity. Everything else plays perfectly but idk what to do. | Posted: 11 Feb 2022 10:21 AM PST Hello, I am relatively new to specifically the Xbox of any iteration. I have only owned Nintendo / Sega consoles in the past along with a PC. I recently got a Series S because my son is starting to enjoy games and I was tired of him destroying my desk setup every time he played on my PC. I honestly haven't played anything but light games for a couple of years. This was all to preface the next part. The only thing that I have ever had attached to my Microsoft account firsthand was a couple of Games for Windows Live. One game I know for sure I had attached to my Microsoft account and played for a little bit was Fallout 3. After getting signed into the Xbox, getting games and updates downloaded, letting my son play, etc. I had noticed last night that Fallout 3 showed in my game library. I haven't ever attached my Microsoft account to an Xbox prior to this and haven't purchased Fallout 3. My question is do Games for Windows Live attached to a Microsoft account entitle an 360/OG Xbox version of the game? Or is Fallout 3 something everyone gets just like the U2 song Apple forced on people? [link] [comments] | ||
