Trying to find an appropriate Xbox 360 DVD-Drive Posted: 12 Feb 2022 12:41 AM PST Hi everyone, I'm new in this community so please don't judge me for being so naive (and for my English btw). Recently, after a long period, I decided to restart my old Xbox 360 that was perfectly working; starting it, I noticed that the DVD drive was no longer reading games so, to continue playing with it, I'm looking for a new DVD drive but I realized that it's not so immediate to find the appropriate one for a specific console. Looking on eBay I've just found the reader of the same type (Lite-on 16-D2S) but I don't know if I have to look for the same FW Vers (in my case 83850C) or it's enough to get just the same model ( for example the one listed in this insertion https://www.ebay.it/itm/184008284711?hash=item2ad7bf9a27:g:KKcAAOSwWEddsrH2 ): I'm aware that setting it up won't be so easy but I'm giving it to a person who's good at it, I just need to know whether certain readers on eBay are changeable with mine and what's the compatibility criteria I got to follow.
