    About a week ago I lost a close group of friends I had known and hungout with for years. They were all I got and idrk how to just move on from it. The thought of playing videogames without them just feels.. pointless? Most of the games I have are because I could play with them but it all kinda seems so pointless now. Just with gaming friends you make so many more memories with especially if you play almost every day.

    Just idk sorry if this is an awful place to post this idrk where else it would be relevant. (Please no insults or toxicity)

    So I've bought the game, downloaded it (took several days but I suspect that's more of an internet issue than anything else)

    I just tried to play it for the first time and it kept coming up with that page to make you buy a subscription. I've let game pass lapse as I can't afford it right now, so just buying it is not an option. There's no "go offline" option when I press B to get out of that.

    I found a post on the microsoft website where someone was having the same problems. The xbox expert or whatever they're called basically said to reset the xbox. I'm not doing that. Another person commented saying that the recommended fix didn't work for them but by going offline in network settings they were able to get access to the campaign.

    So I've gone to my settings and gone offline in the network settings. Now it's telling me there's a connection error, not letting me play offline. And after sitting like that for a few minutes while I'm typing, the game has just shut down and I've got a grey box across the home screen saying that I need to be connected to the internet to play that game.

    Is there any way I can play this very expensive game without keeping up payments for the subscription??

    A part of me was lost

    I got my first Xbox when the Xbox 360 slim came out. My dad and I created the profile and gamertag. He passed on when I was 9. His email, info and other stuff stayed on the account. Everytime I bought a new Xbox like the one or the one X I had to go through forgot password, guess my way into his email my mom would then set a password. She never wrote anything down and the passwords have since been forgotten. I'm now an adult and just bought a Series X. My dad's email and info is still all the stuff for the account and his email is so old (bellsouth) they have since deactivated it so when I do forgot password it gives me the options to get a text to his number which belongs to someone else who won't help me, or an email. Even if I guessed his email password right it wouldn't matter. I'm now trying to recover the account I'm still logged into and have played on for 13 years. Does anyone know how you know a account recovery was successful I got an email the first time that it was wrong. I redid the info and never got an email back that it was correct. Help

    Xbox one crashing even with brand new power supply

    Crackling sound when I stream using the Twitch app

    I've been using the Twitch app on Xbox one to stream and recently am experiencing some crackling sounds. It sounds like a broken mic but I have tried two mics and three controllers and it still does it. It crackles even if I unplug the mic so I'm certain it's an app issue, I have deleted it and redownloaded the app but it hasn't done anything. It can go away by itself after a time or I can go to the Twitch app then back to the game and this fixes it. I'm not sure where this issue has come from and if it's even fixable.

    What a heck of a Sunday! woke up to play some Fallout only to find my live account expired. Paydays not for another week!!! Since I can't sift through the rubble in the Wasteland on FO76 what are some free game suggestions to pass the time.
