    I'm pretty new to proper gaming consoles, only getting my Xbox in January. I've been pretty slow in terms of what games I've played, choosing to focus on one at a time for long stretches. I played a lot of Skyrim and gta v, and the only other games I've played are What Remains of Edith Finch and Life is Strange. I mainly played the latter two just to get used to controls etc, and I've realised I prefer open world by an absolute mile. I'm thinking of asking for a game for Christmas - I already have RDR2 and will play at some point soon, but it would be great to know what everyone's bucket list games are/the ones that you would never fail to recommend. I do draw the line at horror cos I'm an absolute wet wipe when it comes to that kind of stuff but open to anything else!

    Was looking to pick up the remastered copies of these games. I already purchased the 1st game so I was going to buy 2 and 3 separately but I noticed the trilogy package has the optimized for series s/x logo on it while 2 and 3 individually don't. Does only the trilogy package come optimized for series S/X?

    Which Xbox One Should I Get?

    Hi all! I've been a 360 user for over ten years now, and a Halo fan since around 2015, when a friend of mine introduced me to it. Anyway, I'm considering getting an Xbox One so I can play the remastered Halo 2 in MCC, as well as Halo 5 and Halo Infinite, and others. If I'm playing casually, does it matter which one I get? I understand S is better than the original, and X is the best, but will that affect dependability/lifespan? Is one model more/less likely to die than the others? Thanks for the help!

    Which mafia game do you think is best and why? (Definitive Editions)

    I got the trilogy while it was on sale and I have just completed the first one, I really enjoyed it but thought some of the characters were a bit weak but I had a good time overall. Im now just starting the second one.

    Xbox Notifications / invites ain’t working.

    I've tried everything; hard reset, soft reset, logging out etc. I see people coming online and whatnot and that's about it. Is there a way to fix this. I'm trying to join LFGs

    Xbox One PSU Issue

    My Xbox One (original model, not S or X) keeps turning off by itself at seemingly random intervals. The PSU light goes out and needs to be reset (i.e. unplug, wait 10 seconds, plug back in) and then it behaves as normal again... UNTIL I start using the console, at which point it will again, seemingly randomly, turn off. At first I thought it was overheating, but neither the console itself nor the power brick are hot or even warm. I'm not using a surge protector or extension cord either, the console is and always has been plugged directly into the wall. I've tried taking apart the brick and cleaning out some of the dust, but this seems to have changed nothing. I can use the console anywhere between 6 hours and under 5 minutes before the PSU shuts off, and there doesn't appear to be any determining factor for how long it takes before it shuts off--it's completely random. Any thoughts on what might be going on and what I could do about it?

    While I'm here I might as well say that I've had more issues with Xbox consoles than any other system I've ever owned despite using all three of them way less than my Nintendo or Sony systems, and at this point I have strongly discouraged anyone from ever purchasing an Xbox. These things are riddled with horrible design flaws, poorly made hardware, terrible and inconsistent quality control, and require far more effort to maintain than they're worth. If you want a video game system, just get a PlayStation or Nintendo system. It has 99% of the games on this thing and tons more, and it doesn't require you to baby it and tear it down every month just to get it to work as intended. I really struggle to justify purchasing an Xbox, it's more trouble than it's worth.

    Orange light on power supply

    So when I went to boot up my Xbox like I usually do it made the usual beep but no light came on and no other activity. I looked at the power supply and it's a solid orange. I tried unplugging everything waiting around two hours and plugging it back in and nothing seems to help. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
