    My XBox 360 has stopped recognizing DVDs and game discs (audio discs still work).

    I tried running a laser lens cleaner CD in it; the audio played just fine but the cleaning process produced no results. When I insert a DVD or game disc into the 360, the indicator on screen says "reading" followed by "open tray".

    I have had, for many years, an issue where the tray does not physically open on its own until physically pried (then it opens up normally for the remainder of the session), especially after not using it for a while. No idea if these are related, but this is the first time in over ten years I have had a problem reading a disk.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Is it bad 2 Xbox 360s have broken on me the same freaking way and neither time was a red ring of death. Both were freaking disk trays saying to bugger off and stop reading disks ever again

    Audioadapter for my 360

    Hey I recently baught myself skyrim for my 360.

    For the right experience I want to use my regular headphones with 3.5mm cables, but my 360 controller have 2.5mm ports. Further my xbox one controller can't connect with the 360.

    Can anyone please link me a adapter or a controller that can connect with my 360?

    Can't connect 360 to internet.

    I live in an apartment that has free wifi. Unfortunately, to connect, I have to hit "sign in" on a captive gateway.

    My 360 doesn't bring up the sign in page, like my other devices do. It just gives me a "cannot connect" error. Am I missing something? Is there a way around this?

    Not sure if it's important, but this Xbox 360 was shoved in a dusty closet for a few years. It doesn't have any of the newer updates... My dashboard is at version 2.0.17511.0.
