Does your 360 S make a quiet (but audible) high pitched sound at idle? Posted: 03 Oct 2021 05:29 PM PDT Mine does, not sure it its normal since you normally can't hear it over the TV, but I sometimes play games near mute volume and the sound of the xbox is a bit annoying. This isn't the disc spinning, happens in the menu with no disc or playing an installed game so the disc doesn't spin. My old PC makes noise at idle but its more of a low rumble vs high pitched xbox. Posted: 03 Oct 2021 06:33 PM PDT So my Xbox 360 s Star Wars edition has recently started to get the glitches listed in the title. I really want to be able to save the console since it's a cool special edition. I recently replaced the thermal paste successfully and it worked fine for a few days, now this is happening. Should I replace the motherboard? I have no idea what to do. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Oct 2021 09:49 PM PDT Hi all, The right stick of my official wireless controller drifts to the left sometimes but not all the time. It seems pretty random. This is resolved by moving the right stick but it will drift again sooner or later. Does this sound like a cleaning issue or a repair issue? Also, I'm looking for a usb cable to connect my wireless controller to my pc. Does one exist? Thanks, Andy. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Oct 2021 08:39 PM PDT I remember playing this old game on the xbox360 when I was younger. I remember ending levels by going down a drain also it was some kind of platformer with ragdoll characters. Any help finding this game would be awesome I have been trying to find it for years and was told to ask Reddit. Edit: I found it "Cloning Clyde" try checking out the comments on this video they are pretty funny: Also, memory is weird and I am a bit stupid [link] [comments]
What are some good Games that came out before 2008? Posted: 03 Oct 2021 07:19 AM PDT I just ordered an Xbox 360 with the blades Dashboard and I can only play games that came out before the new dash was released otherwise it will update. So what are some good games that came out around that time that I should play? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Oct 2021 02:34 PM PDT Anyone know of a good marketplace to grab some 360 games for reasonable prices? I'm having a hard time finding one. [link] [comments]
My Gears of War Xbox 360 finally died on me. Posted: 03 Oct 2021 01:54 PM PDT Got it at launch. So I would say that is a pretty good run. Already hooked up the backup console I bought from my brother which is a star wars one. But still, a sad day. [link] [comments]
My 360E doesn't connect to the internet with my wifi but my phone's Hotspot and Ethernet work, help? Posted: 03 Oct 2021 04:32 PM PDT This only started happening after a few months of not using it. I tried (I'm pretty sure atleast) absolutely everything and while Ethernet does work the way it's set up in my house it's not possible to just keep it connected forever so I rely on the wifi. It can't be the Xbox itself because my phone's Hotspot works. I tried Everything other than factory resetting it which is not happening. [link] [comments]
Horrible Amount of Screen Tearing Even on the Dashboard! Posted: 03 Oct 2021 06:24 AM PDT Set up my gears of war 3 xbox 360 to screw around in some of the classics like c&c 3, burnout revenge, half life 2, timeshift, split second, transformers wfc, splinter cell double agent .... Etc. But I have noticed in a good few titles have really bad screen tearing like c&c3, resident evil 5 and others which is just off putting big time for me and before you say just get a series s|X and that will solve the problem, i want to play on original hardware and not all games are backwards compatible. C&c3 is absolutely awful with the worst screen tearing I've seen so far every time you move the cursor you get 3-4 lines of tearing, some games play amazing full 60fps and no screen tearing, c&c 3 is 60fps but if that vsync was on it would be 30fps which I would be happy with but to me personally it's unplayable as well as a few other games on the console. Like I said in the title even the dashboard has screen tearing when you press the big x button to bring up the "blades" and flick left to right you can see the tearing at the top left and right of the blades below the Se in settings and the Ga in Games and Apps. I don't look for this problem but once seen it can't be unseen. Let me know if you have experienced this problem. I do have a 50" 4k led smart 2018 LG TV so don't know if that's the problem right there as the TV hardware may be far too advanced for the 2005 console because I don't remember screen tearing back when I got my first HD TV back in 2007. Can't do a license transfer D: Posted: 03 Oct 2021 03:00 PM PDT My old 360 just broke but it gives me an error anytime I try and do the license transfer. I see that other people have reported this as well, is there any fix? [link] [comments] |
