    GamePass recommend me games with a small size... Halo Collection, Halo 5 and Gears 4 are all 100+ gb (no bashing I just thought it's funny)

    So I'm downloading forza horizon 4 and the xbox pops up the notification to hold X to open game while still downloading. Game opens and goes to a downloading screen with music. I go out of the game and see that my download speed has greatly dropped due to a game being opened. I understand that some games let you start character design, or play a tutorial while downloading but just to say your game has this "feature" is just stupid

    XSX delayed shipping from Walmart

    I was able to order an XSX from the 8/5 drop. Estimated shipping was supposed to be 9/11. I got notified that shipping was delayed and was given no new estimate. Is anybody else on the same boat? I've tried calling customer support and got no substantial response.

    I need help with my Xbox one as my controller won’t connect

    Ok so yesterday I returned from lunch and I went to go play some music on my Xbox while I studied however I noticed my controller wasn't connecting to my Xbox. I go to turn on my controller, it flashes as if it's turning on, and then it just turns off and goes dark. I figured the batteries might be dead so replaced them and the same thing happened. I tried switching to a battery pack and that didn't work, I then tried to directly connect it with a wire to the Xbox and that didn't work either. My friend gave me his controller and the same thing happened. It's clear this isn't a controller issue but rather my Xbox is turning off my controller somehow (idk I'm just guessing) does anyone have any tips or idea what might be happening?? This is the first it's happened to me.

    Note: I have a regular Xbox one, I've had it since 2015

    Xbox original Video Converters

    I'm going to my cousin's wedding for the week and wanted to bring my Xbox original to set up a LAN but his TV doesn't have composite or component, just HDMI.

    I've searched on Amazon and have discovered dedicated Xbox component to HDMI converters where one end of the Xbox video cable is built specifically for the Xbox, with the other end being an HDMI output.

    The other option I keep coming across which would be more useful is a simple composite to HDMI converter which I would be able to use on all of my retro game consoles.

    Does anybody have experience testing these out and comparing them??

    Long story short my series X got broken and I had to send it out to repair. They said there was a possibility it could get data swiped. I just got it back and it seems as if it did is there anyway I can restore my data?

    new to xbox, preorder confusion

    i preordered lost judgment digital deluxe edition, because i am on xss, and it had charged my bank account right away. i just got a notification saying that in about 10 days or so, i will be charged for the preorder. it comes out on the 17th and i preordered it on 9/11/21, will it charge me again or no? pls help if you can

    Im looking for hardware advice

    When I go to press the sync button on my console it does not sync and besides the click of the actual button there's a weird popping noise coming from the top of the console.

    I'm wondering if anyone has come across this problem and how did they fix it?

    Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help me fix one of my cherished machines and mods please delete if this is not allowed.

    Renew subscription issue

    So today I went on the store and checked madden 22, apparently you can play with gold, so I downloaded it.

    Today I woke up, and played some of it, but I had to go somewhere else.

    Came back, turned on the Xbox, tried to launch Madden 22, but this time it says renew your subscription.

    It might be servers, or it could be just terrible luck (what if it got removed randomly today)

    Pretty sure it's not the trial, since the name is just Madden 22 Xbox One, and I don't think it would be only for like an hour or two.

    I tried restarting and it didn't work so if you know how to fix it or what happened let me know please.

    The best deal that I've found is $5 off when you buy 3 months on Amazon. Just wondering if there has been a deeper discount so far or a time of year that I should just buy all of it for a year.

    Pro controller 2 question

    I just got one, and I've noticed that the dpad seems to be loose when pressed to the right or upwards when slight pressure is applied… it moves slightly before the input happens, while the left and downwards inputs are instant clicks.

    Has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it or did it resolve in its own?

    Xbox App for W10 Help??

    I am having so many issues with my Xbox app recently and I have no idea what to do. I've tried multiple different things I've seen online but nothing works. Note, this all started the other day after I reorganized my setup. I've unplugged everything before to clean my PC multiple times, and nothing ever happened. But immediately after moving my setup, these issues started happening.

    1. Microphone won't pick up. I can still hear everyone else in the party, but they can't hear me. I only have one input device enabled on my PC and that is my microphone. That's what my xbox app is set at and has always been set at and I've never had issues before. And it's still worked a couple times in the last few days! It seems like it's working randomly and I'm not sure what's going on.
    2. When I join a party, nothing shows up. I get the sound that I joined a party, I can hear people in the party, but the little party icon at the top right of the app doesn't show up. When I close the app and restart it, it shows up but I still can't be heard. Also, messages in party chat don't show up for me.
    3. Whenever I do anything on the Xbox app, it activates the game bar. I don't know if that's always been like that because I've never really paid attention, but it almost seems like game bar is overriding my app or something? I don't know. I can't uninstall it and disabling it has done literally nothing.

    I really have no idea what's going on and no matter what I've tried, nothing has helped. I don't know what else to do and any help would be great.

    Discord and every other program that uses my mic works just fine. It is just the Xbox App
