| What's one game you thought was tailor-made for you, but you couldn't get into it at all? Posted: 08 Sep 2021 03:45 AM PDT For me, it was Mass Effect Remaster. I know, I know - a sacrilege. I am an avid RPG guy and I love sci-fi, so imagine my surprise. Maybe the "problem" was that I didn't play originals back in a day, so I couldn't rely on nostalgia to back me up. It just seems awfully outdated. The world is ugly. I understand you can only squeeze so much from Unreal 3, but still, it bothers me. Combat is wooden, animations are stiff. People don't look or act like people - rather like effigies infected with a spark of life. Shepard VA is atrocious. UI is also not to my liking. I'm sorry, I tried. But I'm not gonna clench my teeth and push through just because I spent money on a game. Maybe Starfield will scratch that sci-fi itch for me. And I'll give Cyberpunk a try once they'll fix most of it. Anyway, what's yours? [link] [comments] | ||
