Mother passed away, Unable to recover account! Posted: 07 Sep 2021 04:41 PM PDT Sorry for the wall of text I just really need help! Basically I've had my Xbox account for roughly around 12 years, as a result of me having the account as a child, it's linked to my mothers email address. However recently the email address is claiming I need to verify that it's me! As someone has apparently tried to log in abroad. Now this wouldn't be an issue as normally you'd be able to confirm it's you with a text message of course. However my mother passed away roughly two years ago, resulting in me not having access to any of her details/information. I've tried to verify online it's me, however apparently I lack the information to receive the account back. I've been told to just make a new account, however I extremely can't stress how much this would upset me, as the account has games which we use to play together, containing her scores which I would love to keep. Exclusives Recommendations? Posted: 07 Sep 2021 07:22 PM PDT I grew up on Xbox with the original and the 360, but have been on the PS side for the last 6 years. I love the PS5, but I have been missing some of my old favorites (namely Halo and Gears) and am looking forward to some upcoming exclusives (Senua's Saga, Starfield, and Fable), so I went ahead and picked up a Series X that should be here Friday. I'm super excited to get back in to it, but given that I've been away for so long I'm looking for recommendations on any must-play exclusives that I've missed over the past few years. I'll try just about anything, but I mostly enjoy action-adventure, souls-likes, rpgs, and shooters (if they have a gripping story). Xbox not switching on. When I did this it got stuck on the green loading screen for 5-10 minutes then I plugged it out and now it's on (as in the light) but there is no video output. Game installing normally but no updating it will say "installiation stoped" every time i try updating it Posted: 07 Sep 2021 09:55 PM PDT I asked yesterday on how to fix this and someone said hard reset and that worked for half an hour and stoped. I tried unplugging the xbox changing location deleting the game restarting nothing worked. The weird thing is when it worked yesterday the update was 9gb but the screen that showed me that the game needs an update showed 32gb. Posted: 07 Sep 2021 12:05 PM PDT Hi I'm coming to ask this purely our of anxiety and curiosity but I just had to purchase a new TV cause the LEDS went out in my old one and it was the same exact night I first ever unplugged the ethernet cable from the TV and used it on my xbox.
