| Dandy Ace's gameplay mechanics is actually interesting Posted: 29 Sep 2021 05:40 AM PDT Dandy Ace snuck onto Gamepass last night and despite it's "childish but for grownups too" layer of paint, it's actually got some interesting mechanics. Similar to Transistor, made by the people who created Bastion and Hades, you get four starting abilities that are performed via the A, B, X, and Y buttons. But after the first four abilities, there are still more moves to collect. Because you can then add an ability onto an ability and get the new ability's bonus effect. So, say you have all four ability slots full. Your X button shoots out projectiles. And then you come up on an ability that shoots out a giant projectile that also adds poison. You can either replace the original ability with the new one OR you can merge it with the original. So now your multiple projectiles ability will add a poison effect. It's pretty interesting and I've been hoping for another game like Transistor for a long time. I believe Transistor maps are always the same though, with Dandy Ace they constantly change like in Dead Cells or Children or Morta. Anyway, just waiting on groceries to be delivered so I messed around with the game, saw nobody was talking about it, and figured I'd let people know about it. [link] [comments] | ||

| Some questions about game sharing with someone from a different region Posted: 29 Sep 2021 07:07 PM PDT A friend of mine from France got the Series X and I'd like to game share with her, with me being in the US. The main thing I'm concerned about is the Xbox store. Would that cause any issues with currency or pricing? Also, is there any way that I could be penalized for sharing my info with someone from another country? I don't know if I'm the terms of use there's anything about sharing accounts or log in information, and it would be pretty obvious if I just showed up in France while regularly using my account in the US. Also, if I were to remotely remove my account from her Xbox, would it still be registered as my home Xbox? I would think so, but I'd just like to make sure. Everytime I come home there is some form of roach crawling around my room despite bug bombs and multiple insecticides sprays around my room. Is there a safe way to kill them and not ruin my xbox? | Posted: 29 Sep 2021 05:46 PM PDT I stream on my xbox because i cant agford a computer yet, but whenever i stream with friends in the party, the stream cant hear them. I know there should be a box in the party menu that says "include my audio in stream" (unless that was only a mixer thing) but they all say it doesnt show up for them. I have a one S if that makes any difference. A bunch of my friends have looked this up before, but we cant find anything. If qnyone can help, i'd really appreciate it. [link] [comments] |
