My wish below is above and beyond this. --------------------- Let me start this by putting it out there that I am a huge fan of Game Pass. It has allowed us (and especially impulsive/impatient me) to try SO MANY games. I am subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate for the next 3 years. I have an Series X, and play on cloud (with sincere appreciation for the ability to do so!) on my Android Tablet and multiple PCs (whatever PC I am really near, which should show you how ACCESSIBLE it is and feels awesome!) But here comes the part where I should qualify my demographic: I am a husband of a wife, and a father of 2 kids who play RELIGIOUSLY. This means our Xbox is frequently in use on our one entertainment center TV. This also means I (the Game Pass Subscriber) appreciate even more the Cloud Play functionality, but it also means I am the one who gets kicked off the Xbox more often, because I am the subscriber and I can use Cloud Play on any device. Here we are at the topic of my suggestion: BRING IN A FAMILY PLAN FOR GAME PASS, OR ALLOW SHARING WITH A LIMITED NUMBER OF FAMILY MEMBERS! In families sharing a house, the traffic on the Xbox is nothing to sneeze at. I want to be the one using the Xbox sometimes. I want to kick the little ones off the TV sometimes and have them cloud play! Yes, I recognize that if they allow that, it will be abused. But I think it will ultimately drive more Game Pass subscription sales. Discuss! Do you think this is a good or bad idea? If you agree, please bring this feedback to Microsoft as I am! Sick of paying huge sums of money to buy games in steam or GOG for them to sit unplayed. So impressed, I bough a used one s locally, upgrade to ultimate and started cross play/save. . SO impressed that same day I found a series s online at best buy and got it. SOOO impressed today I found a dude selling a one x for incredibly cheap locally and got that (to swap for the one s). I can't believe I went the entire life of all Xbox systems without playing one even once, to where I am now in a week. Gamepass is absolutely genius. And now I can cross save between my pc and two consoles and the library is immense. Plus nothing is lost, I can still buy games anyways. Sidenote: I also tried the game streaming to my iPhone from the cloud. It works very well too. Microsoft is killing it [link] [comments] | ||

| Is Xbox Live even worth it anymore? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 02:48 PM PDT I recently bought a pc instead of a new xbox and so far ive enjoyed my pc. Before that i pretty much gamed on my xbox one which is 6 years old at this point. Mind you i had a ps4 as well but only played mlb the show and ps exclusive games on it. Recently all my friends decided to move on to other things in life like college and stuff like that so i use it less and less. The only games i played on xbox as of the last year has been apex (which i now play on pc), mlb the show 21 since its the first year its been available on xbox, and gta (which i only play a couple days every 6 months or so when a new dlc comes out. I dont have game pass and cant remember the last time an xbox exclusive has intrigued me enough to buy it. I bought my boyfriend a ps5 a couple months ago and hearing that wolverine and spiderman 2 are coming to ps5 which are games i really enjoy and want to play, i find myself loosing interest in my xbox. Its slow and outdated and i dont see it being worth spending the money on xbox live anymore. So i ask you guys, if you were in my shoes where your only playing one game on ur xbox for a year does 60 dollars seem worth it or should i focus on games on ps5 and pc where i dont have to spend extra money on online play? I certainly hope this makes it to Xbox. Aspyr's remaster of Republic Commando was only for the Playstation at the Switch, if I recall. All of a sudden, the old Seagate external stopped being accessible to him, so I bought him a new larger one. It worked at first, then the same problem recently started happening with it. He thinks it will be resolved by getting a new Xbox, and he wants an S but I'm a firm believer in getting the latest tech, which would be an X, right?
