    360 "Falcon" can play DVDs, but not games

    I've bought several 360s in the last year. This weekend I opened up three to clean/fix them up. My Falcon v2, which has been opened previously before me, cannot play games, but plays DVDs fine. It's my understanding this could be a different optical drive than it's original? Maybe the "key" is different from the motherboard? I'd like to get the drive working to eventually sell one day. What steps do I need to take? Not interested in buying another drive (unless I really have too), but from my quick search I can format it or something using my PC? It's a BenQ drive if that means anything. Thanks!

    Friend got gifted a jailbroken Falcon X360 that isn't running original games. Is there a way to restore it to its original settings?

    Hello everyone!

    My friend got gifted a jailbroken Falcon X360 (May 2008 model with HDMI port) for his videogame collection, but the console isn't running original disks.

    He doesn't remember very well, but the guy who gave him the gift said the technician at the time gave him a small "part" he got out of the console during the procedure. He doesn't have that part anymore.

    Is there a way to un-jailbreak and allow it to run original games? He doesn't care about pirating or anything, he wants to at least have a functional videogame.

    I have a older brother 60 who recently got out of the hospital and is in need of a new X-Box 360 Controller as gaming will be his entertainment for the near future.

    Where can I buy online a real nice quality wireless or wired a new X-box 360 controller as his has started to go bad. Can anyone provide a link to a controller that is good quality or genuine that I can mail to him when I get it.

    I called Gamestop and they have none here in CT.

    I recently went to a GameStop to buy a $10 Xbox gift card to use on my 360. I went into the 'redeem code' section of my Xbox, and entered it in. However, after I did that, I got a pop up that says "this code is not valid." I have reentered it multiple times, and it still says not valid. I will try to enter it online, but I doubt it will work. Was I scammed?

    Slowdowns, errors and disconnects on Xbox Live

    Navigating Xbox Live is very difficult, the actions take a long time to load, most of the time there is an error that eventually disconnects me from Xbox Live. This is happening with the console connected to the internet via Ethernet cable and it also happens with the console connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. Is anyone suffering from this too? Is there a way to fix this?

    Xbox 360 not installing system update

    I've been trying to install it for the past few days but nothing is working. I've burned the update on a disc, cleared cache, cleared failed system updates but absolutely nothing is working. Is there anything else that I can do or do I need it repaired? I have a Xbox 360 E 1538 model if that helps.

    Adventure / Collecting - Games Advice

    Hello,

    I gifted my mother my Xbox 360. I got her a handful of games and she fell in love with the first few Harry Potter games, and the Lego games.

    She pretty much 100%'ed those and I am struggling to find something else she would enjoy. They have to be slow paced (as she isn't too fast at pressing the buttons).

    She really enjoyed the action of going around collecting things and puzzles. She hated anything shooting, driving or involving a somewhat timed jump!

    Any suggestions?

    how do i get zone of the enders lmao

    so i'm in south africa and i reeeeeaaalllyy wanna get zone of the enders, but it's not available here. i tried using a vpn through the ms store, but that doesn't work. i tried changing the region settings on both my 360 and my laptop, still doesn't work. idk what to do, and i just wanna play the game damn it ;-;

    175w Power Supply for fat Xbox 360 sounds like motorbike

    Even after cleaning the fan in it, my 175w power supply for my old 360 sounds like an engine. Still functions but I barely want to use it when it sounds like that. Any idea what to do?

    Preowned Xbox running extremely slow... anybody know how to solve this?

    Alternatively, anybody know anywhere i can send this thing to get it refurbished?

    I just got it pre-owned. Guess I didn't understand what I was buying because the loading times on this thing are just terrible- probably a result of its neglect. Also has no hard drive.
