Posted: 28 Sep 2021 05:21 PM PDT I want one big setup with all the retro consoles from the nes to the wii and I want to get an Xbox 360 next. I'm gonna hook it up to a 35" crt and I was wondering which Xbox 360 had the best av output. I would think the core because it only has av out so I assume that it is intended to be played on a crt wile later models just kept it around for the 3 gamers left with a crt in 2008 wile the hdmi was the main focus for Microsoft. I don't mind the wired controllers or having to use memory cards because it makes it feel more retro which matches my setup. Also the core models are pretty cheap nos since nobody wants to be restricted to just analog output only, except me. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 28 Sep 2021 04:22 AM PDT Hi recently got an Xbox 360 slim from Facebook marketplace. As I got round to turn it on a message appeared saying "A system Update is available from Xbox Live. If you decline the update, you will not be able connect to Xbox Live until you take the update" Which I don't understand because I thought the slim consoles had around 200 or so gb. | Posted: 28 Sep 2021 12:08 PM PDT Not sure if this breaks rule 2 (and if so please remove). I dug up my old xbox 360 that had been modded overseas, Xell reloaded or something. Plugged it in and was showing one red light and an e38 error. Tried it with the harddrive removed and it works fine, so I pretty sure the harddrive has failed. Can I simply replace the harddrive with another 360's harddrive? all I really want it for is so the kids can play kinect? Do I need to install something on the new harddrive? [link] [comments] | ||
