    Found these self burned discs at a thrift shop? Is there anyway I can soft mod my 360 to run them?

    Just bought a 360 and the original XBOX games that are supposed to be backwards compatible don’t work on it :( Something else I can do?

    I'm super bummed. I brought a 360 home, bought Fable the Lost Chapters (Platinum Hits) and the Simpsons Hit and Run — two of my all time favorites. When I put either disc in it says "this original xbox game is not supported blah blah blah an update may be available" but I don't see any updates/it doesn't prompt me to update (even though I went out of my way to buy a wifi adapter today just for this reason lmfao).

    Is there anything else I can try? 😭

    I’m still not too sure how I feel about this game. I like it and want to see a sequel, but on the other hand I will never play this game again. I needed the the achievement points tho

    New 360 owner joining Team Xbox for the first time, a couple questions

    So I plan to get Xbox GamePass Ultimate when Halo Infinite comes out, as my intro to Team Xbox. Been a Nintendo and PlayStation guy all my life. Usually just played multiplayer Gears and Halo at a friends house, but never owned one. Recently bought a 360 Elite from a co-worker with about 50 games mostly for the "retro experience" and I'm excited to jump in, but curious.

    I finally upgraded from a potato to a pretty good PC which is about equal to a Series S or X / PS5 (Ryzen 7 3700x,16GB RAM, RTX 2060),which I plan to use with GamePass Ultimate. I'm NOT getting a Series X, getting a PS5 instead. So my questions...

    How well do both Gamepass and Live work for 360?

    Are there still any popular servers on 360?

    Does playing a OG Xbox or 360 game on PC via Gamepass allow me to get achievements? I'm a part-time trophy whore and I'd like to begin my escapades on Team Xbox.

    How's backwards compatibility on the 360 hardware?

    Maintenance issues on the 360? Ive opened and cleaned out my PS3, PS4 and their respective controllers, cleaned them out, replaced thermal paste, etc. Anything particular for me to know? Besides the RROD. I own a Jasper unit.

    Any little secrets or hidden features about the console?

    covid quarantine minecraft build

    Does everyone prefer raw dump backups or .GOD backups? I just wanna back up my games and have them available to play on my Xbox 360 consoles and I want to ftp them to my computer to keep incase my console dies and I need to re mod another one and transfer back my games.

    So recently I was determined to finish the fight (on this game) I never could when I was young. I acquired both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version. And this is what happened:

    1. I noticed that Xbox had a title update over the internet... What was it?

    2. Graphics seem more polished. PS3 feels like it was a copy paste of the PS2 version. Xbox connected with VGA and PS3 with HDMI (VGA always seemed to me soooooo smooth in every game).

    3. Achievements vs no trophies.

    Every single "early game" on this generation kicks ass on the 360 whereas PS3 seems inferior (early in the generation).

    Xbox Live Gold and Minecraft Mini-games

    I contacted people from Microsoft and they told me to reset the cache of my console, re download an update, check my privacy settings, etc. The reason why I did these was because I have Minecraft on a disk and I can't play the mini-games because it says "can't connect to server" even though my wifi is fine.

    Recently moved to an apartment complex that provides internet (which is awful). Cannot move the router upstairs to where my Xbox is so I was thinking about purchasing an extender that supports 5ghz and run to my Xbox 360 slim. If I put the extender on the 5G network, would my Xbox be able to connect as well?
