    If I get a 3 month gamepass ultimate prepaid card and insert the code, then I insert another 3 month prepaid card will it add up to 6 months or will it not work ?

    Anyone know how to make my internet speed better on the Series X?

    Just moved into a new college apt and through speedtests on my computer, i have 250mb download and upload speed. However whenever I try to play online my xbox just lags religiously. Whenever I download anything it fluctuates between 150mbps and 800kbps, mostly hovering around 3-8mbps. I have no access to an ethernet cord unfortunately. I have no problem ever using netflix or youtube or anything else internet related on my phone or laptop but whenever it comes to the xbox I have some problems. Anyone have any tips/advice?

    Question about storage

    I've ran out of storage on my Xbox Series S, so i'm looking to buy an external hard drive

    Xbox do have "official" ones on their website, but they are ridiculously overpriced. So i'm looking to get a third party one

    The only difference is that the "official" ones are SSD cards and go into the SSD slot, whereas the third party ones are plugged in via USB.

    My question is, do third party external hard drives that are plugged in via USB work on the new generation xbox? And do they work for "optimised for xbox series X|S" games

    (i already know that 3rd party ones work on the old xbox one. i'm just wondering if they work on the new generation and optimised for xbox series X|S games)

    problem with controllers

    hey guys, ive been having a problem with one of my xbox controllers where its like very sensitive or something, i cant explain it, when i click on one of the bumpers while in the menu it passes by all of the tabs with the slightest click, same thing happens when i click with the d-pad or joystick too idk what the problem with it is and i've been trying to fix it for months, also it has another problem where it randomly disconnects, anyone please help :/

    Question about gifting games to someone in another country.

    Hello everyone. I wanted to gift a game to my friend that lives in Europe, but I live in South America. This friend of mine also wants to give me a game, but this game has only released in Japan, North America, and Europe. Can I still give him the game he wants, and can I redeem the game he gives me? I know this question has probably been already asked, but I wanted to know if it's possible. If I can't redeem it, does changing my xbox's location to Europe resolve the problem? If not, is there another way to do it? Thank you in advance.

    If I put in my Xbox 360 disc of GTA V into an Xbox Series X, would I get the full 4K Series X version?

    My last console was an Xbox 360. I still have an insane amount of games for it including GTA V, Skate., Skate. 3, Red Dead Redemption. I was debating what console to get and the backwards compatibility is tiding me over.

    I have heard about Skate. 3 being a higher resolution version of the game being that it was only released on Xbox 360. Is that the same for games like GTA V where there also exists a Series X disc version? Or if I put in GTA V would I still get the lesser Xbox 360 version?

    And how does that work? I can download it and as long as the disc is in, I have the license? And then I assume if I wanna go disc-less I can buy the license digitally?

    External storage device issues

    I don't know if this fits in this sub Reddit but I thought I'd try my luck. Basically a few days ago I noticed some issues with my external storage device (saying it was disconnected when it wasn't etc) and now every time I try to load up a game that is downloaded on the storage device I get the "this game has taken too long to start error". I know it's an issue with the storage as the one game that is on my internal hard drive boots up no problem. Is there anything I can do other than buy a new storage device? I've tried switching ports, hard resetting, basically everything. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

    Xbox “haven’t played for a while” message

    This is what I like to call it at least. For some reason a friend of mine keeps getting messages on his Xbox app whenever I start a game I haven't played in a while. This also happens if it's just been a day and I find it really annoying cause I can't really vibe on my own without him spamming invites and messages if he can join. Is there any way I can stop this from happening. Is there a setting on the app or on my Xbox I gotta disable or can it only be disabled by him?

    Title. Got the Series S yesterday and I absolutely love it so far, as of right now money is tight (incoming bills and gotta treat my girl for her b day) so this is definitely my main gaming machine for a while and I need a few things to really get it going, first and foremost is external storage obviously cause I scrolled through the gamepass library, and my god, there is so much shit to choose from Imao. Obviously the sea gate SSD is out of the question, way too damn expensive i mine as well have bought an X for that price. So should I just go with the halo 2tb hard drive from seagate? Is there any decently priced options for an external SSD even if it's just 500 gigs? Do I really need an external SSD or is a hard drive fine for a bunch of older games and then just keep the few new games I play on the internal or what? What do ya'll recommend

    Game installation help

    Anyone know if there's a way to get your xbox to ask you where you want to install your game before installing every game? There just some games I want on my hdd and others internal but don't want to have to move them manually everytime.
