    i think ive finally done it, ive maximized airflow for my 360 E to run cool, now i only have to replace the thermal paste every 100000 years.

    Let me explain. Last night I had to get a laundry load done fast and I slapped it together and threw it in. Beforehand I removed my halo reach box from the basket because I was cleaning my room and things needed to be out of the way to clean. I apparently didn't notice my black and white controllers in the basket and just threw it in.

    I went to bed, got up, went to class, and came home to finish my laundry. When I looked down I saw both controllers staring back at me and I said, "well shit." And grabbed both to inspect them. Both looked brand new aside from the rubber on the thumbsticks that were worn down a long time ago. Both were completely dry and then I tested them. Both worked perfectly, Xbox hardware is some durable shit. The only reason they survived is because they didn't have batteries in them.

    How to clean Xbox 360

    I am looking for tips to clean my Xbox 360, it's my only Console and I want to keep it in good condition. I don't have anything like a can of air to do that so any tips would be very useful.

    Xbox 360 E keeps shutting down due to "insufficient ventilation" and I literally just cleaned it..

    .. spent the whole day trying to open the damn thing. Finally get it open, I clean the motherboards, the sides, the case, the fan, everything I could. Put it back together and I unknowingly took out the ribbon because nobody and no guides actually told me about that beforehand so it got taken out. Opened it back up, again, made sure I blew all the seeable pieces of dust out, tried to out the sensor ribbon back in the faceplate and couldn't.

    Tried to open it back up and close it, welp the screw thing broke so now it's not 100% properly on there. Whatever. I turn it on using my wireless controller and it works, even though the light doesn't turn on anymore and the button doesn't work. Whatever, at least I could turn it on and play Skyrim.

    When I turn it on doesn't even sound on and the fans don't really blow (which I suspected it's because I cleaned them good so they don't need to blow like they used to), however it just turned off three times in a row due to "insufficient ventilation" when there's more than enough room, I just cleaned it out like twice and there should be absolutely no issues. Yet somehow there is. It's just been issue after issue with this whole project today. I'm definitely going to be getting a new Xbox at some point but I just need this to work for now. However it kept turning off due to "insufficient ventilation" multiple times before it would stay on, almost every time turning it on. However I've been using it more regularly so it's been a lil better with that but then it started fucking up again yesterday by freezing in Skyrim (hasn't done that in awhile) twice in a row, around the same area and mission. I know it's a known issue for Xbox to freeze with Skyrim but damn come on now.

    I just turned the Xbox on for the 4th time and it seems to have stayed on so far.. I hope it does but now I'm on edge even turning my game on because I expect it to freeze just like yesterday if all my cleaning and work didn't even do anything smh

    Any advice?

    Also my apologies for my irritation and negative posts earlier. Shit like this just annoys me

    I'm planning to buy an xbox 360, either E or S.

    I'm italian, but I now live in Poland, and therefore I'd like to be able to play games and have the main menu in italian/english aswell.

    So how far does the localization goes? If I buy a 360 in europe, will I able to set the language as I prefer? Will I be able to purchase games in my own language on the store?

    How to tell if a Xbox 360 Slim HDD is official or not?

    I just got a hard disk drive in the mail today so I could play original Xbox games. In the storage screen in the settings there is a Microsoft logo next to the HDD option. Does this mean that it is an official HDD? If so, why aren't old games working? It just tells me that it cannot start that game, and that I should try to redownload it. Thanks
