    Black Screen of Death

    Black screen of death on my Xbox One, am I screwed?

    I have tried turning off and turning on my Xbox One console multiple times. Completely power cycling everything but each time I turn it on it will go through the normal green Xbox One screen and then when the home page should show up my screen just goes completely black. If I hold down the Xbox button on my controller I still get the pop-up screen where I can select turn off console, turn off controller or restart console. My home screen just never shows up.

    Controller Drift

    So I bought an Xbox controller last week and used it for a total of 50+ hours already.

    I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me but the left stick is having a "drift" when I move it to the left then stops when I move it to the right. I have no problem when I'm going to the right, so... do you guys think there's a fix for this?

    And yeah I contacted Xbox support earlier, still waiting for a reply from an agent.

    P.S. I tried the q-tip+alcohol 'fix', but it only went OK for a couple of mins then the drifting came back again when I move the LS to the left, it's like something is holding it from going left fully.

    Installation stopped, can’t fix

    Today, I just tried installing gta, but when I went to start it, nothing would happen it would just keep saying install ion stopped no matter how many times I tried starting it. I started off turning it off and on but it didn't work, and then I restarted it but the same problem continued. As a final resort I've hard factory reset the Xbox, but it still won't install anything. I have run out of ideas of what to do, can anyone help?

    Xbox stopped working

    Hey. So I have the original Xbox one, the big black one. So recently it stopped working. It stills comes on but the tv screen is just completely black. I switched the hdmi cord but that didn't work. I unplugged it for a bit and plugged it back in. I turned it on and the green Xbox screen came on for a bit before going completely black again. Now it stays completely black even after I do a hard reset. I'm planning on taking it for repair but if there's anything I can do now, I'd be willing to try

    Need advice for buying xbox series x private sale off marketplace

    Hello all. I've been struggling long enough to get my hands on a console from a retailer. I started watching the marketplace on face to see what it's about. Their either too high, or sketchy sellers that sound like scams. BUT I finally found one for about spot value and they have a 4.2 reputation and only meets during day and at the the local town police station. Says I can open it once I pay in full.

    My question is if anyone here has been through this, what was your experience? Any tips hints pointers things to avoid? Sign of a scam? Because if I open the box and it's a paperweight I wil .... sorry I shouldn't post that on reddit lol

    But please ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

    I don't know where my xbox has been linked to epic. How can I find out what epic games account my xbox is currently linked to?

    Thanks for any help - it's stopping me from using my xbox progression now that I'm on PC

    More a question about the app than xbox itself, but can you download your clips in bulk to phone?

    I have a large amount of clips I want to download, but because of the way the app is set out, it seems I have to download them all individually. Is there any way to highlight them all and queue them to download?

    Opinions on single player games

    I am still exploring the features of my Xbox, and am still kinda not used to consoles, but, in the YouTube app, the top, bottom and sides of the screen/video are cut off. It is really bugging me. Can someone help me please. I have already explored my TV's settings, and nothing helped

    Xbox Controller not working

    My glow up wired transparent xbox one controller is not working. So basically I play a shooting game called Apex Legends if you know what that is and everytime even though I am not pressing the LT button it uses the thing that is for that button. Ex.(Like for instance if you are playing a shooting game it just stays aimed in even though you are not aiming in with the LT button.) I also have other controllers that are regular and not wired like most xbox controllers and it would be nice if you guys could help me fix the wired or unwired controller please.

    Elite Series 2 mapping question

    So my question concerns the share button/action, so if I would remap the A button for its secondary action (shift + A) to the share button would it behave as it does on the Series X/S controller?
    Like: 1 tap = screenshot
    2 taps = show recent screnshots/recordings
    hold = record video
    As you have probably noticed, I do not own Series 2, but I'm thinking about buying one. Also, you might have noticed that I'm a filthy casual.

    Linking profile from Xbone to new Xbox series.

    Hello there! I have an urgent question that really does worry me a lot. I have my current Xbox profile linked to my old high school email, I've had this profile since 2019? Issue is that I'm not able to get into my school email for some reason, I've tried many times but it doesn't let me in. With linking my account to the new Xbox series, am I required to go into my school email to link it? Like through a confirmation email of sorts? This worries me a lot because I'm not able to get into my school email. And before this current profile, I lost my old one that I had for 11-12 years. I really don't wanna start a new account again. Is anyone able to clear this up for me?

    Question regarding Dev mode on Xbox One
