    Hi, your friendly mods here. We understand that you're excited and really happy to get a new Xbox console. And that's great. However, we've found that most readers here are not particularly interested in seeing posts that are photos of the box that your Xbox came in. It's similar to having a new parent showing you photos of their newborn baby. Yes, the baby is beautiful** and we're glad you're happy, but it's going to get tiring and annoying seeing baby photos several times a day, day after day, every day.

    So if you post "I just got a new Xbox," we're going to remove it. Photos of an Xbox box in your passenger carseat? We're going to remove it. Photo of your new Xbox with your cat? We're going to remove it. "I got an Xbox for my birthday!" -- Gone.

    Unless it's a photo of an Xbox that's extraordinary (example: it's onboard the International Space Station,) we're going to remove it. We will make exceptions and allow posts whose Titles are worded to create a discussion or ask a relevant Xbox question. Examples: "I just got an Xbox. What racing games should I play first?", or similar.

    Along the same lines, we are removing posts that are images of controllers you've copied from the Xbox Design Lab website. Since that website came back online, people have begun posting these. It is very cool that you can create and buy your own color-scheme controller, but is it of interest to readers here to be looking at yet another different colored Xbox Design Lab controller? We don't think so.

    While I'm mentioning posts that the moderators here remove, here are some other types of submitted posts we commonly remove: Complaints about scalpers; Most posts complaining about an Xbox Live ban; Boasting about your amazing Gamerscore. Everyone universally hates scalpers, nobody cares that you were "unfairly" banned for saying "Fuck You" over voice chat, and while your 42069 Gamerscore may be worthy of notice by scholars and historians, it's really not something that readers here care about.

    To summarize: We consider pictures of ordinary things to be "Low Quality Posts" and will remove them.

    So I followed a few stock update Twitter accounts, but the one that gave me the heads up was @Wario64. I unfollowed everyone on Twitter and only followed stock trackers (I don't use Twitter anymore, who cares lol) to focus my feed.

    Jumped onto my PC, randomly checked Twitter. @Wario64 said "XBox Series X in stock at Best Buy." With a link. Tweet was 25 mins old so I was almost positive there would be nothing left. I clicked the link.

    Then my browser opened the Best Buy website, and I went to the Xbox Series X page where it normally says "Sold out". Upon loading the screen, for a split second the button was yellow and said add to cart, but immediately switched to "Please Wait." and had 3 alternating dots, indicating it was loading or something. It will tell you what's going on in a little pop up message, but basically this means they are adding stock in waves every few minutes.

    At first I tried refreshing the page every few seconds, but I don't think that helps anything. In fact it might be hurting your chances. I'm not exactly sure if it puts you in an invisible queue, but what I CAN say is that it turned yellow for me without refreshing. Clicked add to cart, had all my information pre-entered so it was a quick process. Boom, Xbox secured.

    I would also maybe just click pick up at store instead of shipping. Might save you some time. Also worth mentioning, I didn't really put much effort into finding this Xbox. Pretty passive interest, so maybe that's a sign that stock is starting to increase in general.

    Microsoft Rewards app not working on Series X

    Hello. Is anyone else having issues while using the Microsoft Rewards app on their Xbox?

    When I try to start it, it just shows the blue screen with the medal for like a minute and the goes back to the dashboard, it doesn't show an error code or something.

    It's been like this all day long, I had no trouble using it yesterday.

    What if Xbox just became another PC

    What if MS increased the Price of the XBox to be profitable, but then dropped or significantly reduced their cut on game store like they did on the Windows store so that games were cheaper and dropped in price quicker. Would you be more or less likely to buy an XBox?

    Whenever I record a clip or stream in COD, it doesn't get my voice or anyone else's in the game. Is there a way to fix this? I want to make content but I can't do it if viewers can't hear me or Random's in the game.

    6+ player game suggestions?

    So I usually play in a party with my buddies (usually around 6-8 people) and im trying to find another game for us to play for a few hours one night for a break from our regular games (BDO , destiny 2) sadly a couple aren't into halo : never realized the amount of games that limit to only 4 untill now . Would be awesome if game is free on games pass but open to all suggestions .Thank you in advance

    Does it let you queue games even if you will run out of space before being able to download said games? I'm not sure how to check exactly how much space each game will take up, but it seems like a lot and I'm not sure if I can fit all of the games. I have all of the games queued.

    Are disc games updated?

    Forgive my ignorance (the last console I bought new was a PS2). I mostly use my old PC.

    If I buy a disc game for a glitchy game like Cyberpunk ($20 at GameStop) versus $59 digital on Microsoft store. Do you still get updates to the disc game the same as digital? I assume the disc is just a place holder that you bought the game.

    My Series X is on its way and I want a few games ready to go.

    Also, any title recommendations for an old gamer who likes the old BioWare/Obsidian RPG games of yesteryear?

    Won’t let me purchase the game (changed my region it doesn’t work)

    Does anyone have any clue? I can connect remotely with my iPad, my controller works, but as soon as it connects, it says I have stopped playing remotely. I'm just left on the Home Screen. No response.

    Series S

    Hey, first time xbox owner here.

    I recently got an Xbox series S, and for the last three days I've been leaving my console turned "off" in energy saving mode but with a makeshift cover on to keep dust and hair (several pets) out. Would that damage the console? Would it be better to do a full shut down?

    Best Xbox for backwards compatibility

    I am new to Xbox. During my time collecting games, I have picked up some OG Xbox and Xbox 360 exclusives that have caught my eye. I might even pick up some Xbox One games in the future. Is there one console that can play all of these games?

    Microsoft just announced public availability of the Windows Game Developer Kit (GDK) which includes support and tooling for implementing AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), including support not only for PCs, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One

    Although not yet available at the GDK GitHub page (here), Microsoft just announced official support for FSR tooling via the GDK—and official support not only for PCs, Xbox Series S/X, and Xbox One.

    COD: Black Ops Cold War nextgen upgrade

    I just got my Series X today and bought the next gen upgrade. It says that now both version should show up in my library but it only shows the Xbox One version. If I search on the store it shows in the search results that I own the cross gen bundle but when I click on it I see the buy $79.99 button. If I click on that it says you already own this.

    Has anyone else had this issue?
