    Xbox should create a system to redeem disk games for the digital version of the game for a reasonable fee.

    Imagine if you could send your disk to xbox or a company they contract and an individual tests that disk and if you get approved you get sent the digital version of the game and that disk is destroyed/recycled. This would both increase revenue as another opportunity for xbox to make money on a game but it would also increase Series S upgrades, AND it would take used games off the market that would otherwise be a lost opportunity for income from Xbox AND the developers. You're used games would also hold increased value as the # of physical copies that exists would decrease with time after production stops.

    Series S vs series X

    So Im 15 and i just got a summer job and I get 2k every month I get 500 and the rest I'm saving for a car when I'm 16. should i get the series x or series s if i get the x that's is just the console but if I get the series s I can get a extra control new headset and some accessories for it what should I do? And I also don't know if the S will hold up so I don't know.

    Edit(I also think the x takes up a lot of space especially for my setup it's a computer desk with a tv with barley any space for a Xbox one s.)

    I recently experienced my Series S randomly turn off two times while playing Wolfenstein. I checked to see if it was hot to the touch to see if maybe it could've overheated, but it felt as warm as normal and it had plenty of ventilation. I have played gears and halo for hours at a time and never had them cause my console to turn off or overheat. I got my Series S about 3 weeks ago and have played about 20 to 30 hours in it so far and have experienced no other issues with it, so it's practically brand new. I'm not worried but I am concerned. Any thoughts on what this could be or how to fix/avoid this? And is anyone else experiencing this?

    TLDR: my Series S turns off while playing Wolfenstein, have yet to determine if this happens with any other games. Doesn't appear to be overheating.

    Transfer Xbox (360) gamertag from an e-mail address I don't own to mine

    So quick backstory, hope I am not too vague: I'd like to give Game Pass a spin and thought it would be nice to use my own gamertag from back in the day. Problem is that I haven't used it since I stopped playing on my Xbox 360 around 2013. Plus my brother registered (his now long unused) e-mail on it back in the day.

    When I search the web I read that the gamertag e-mailaddress can be changed by changing the primary alias of the account. But from what I can see on the Microsoft site, this change applies to all microsoft services on the account. This would be fine if both e-mailaddresses were completely mine. While my brother would let me use his old e-mailaddress to change the ownership of the gamertag, nothing else should be transfered. And from what I can understand, changing the primary alias would give my account also ownership/access into his? Am I missunderstanding this or is there a better way at getting this done?

    What's the best choice?

    I am not trying to stir a console war. I own a pc and plan to buy Xbox Game Pass with their amazing deals. I owned a PS3, 360, XONE, PS4. I got so hooked after watching Microsoft's E3 and their exclusive deals with Bethesda.

    Should I go for the Series X or PS5 ? Give me your honest opinion. I love them both, but can't afford them both lmao.

    Also I'm looking for raw power, sexy design and performance. Both are there.

    COD Cold War not Launching

    Issue now sorted!

    I've just bought Cold War on my Series X (Full version for X/S), and I've run into an issue with it not launching.

    This isn't like the normal black screen crash that I've read about. When I press on the icon to launch the game, nothing happens. It registers that I have selected the game, but nothing happens.

    All my other games work fine. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still won't work. I've tried power cycling as well.

    It's saved on an External drive, but all my other games on the drive work fine.
