    RIP Falcon

Behold a Xbox 360 from 10th October 2005. It's a banned console that's able to play fake disk and it still has the original menu on it. I found it nostalgic. It's mostly Red Ring of Death nowadays.

Doing this post because someone on here wants to know where the little metal tab by the dvd drive goes.

    Posted: 25 Jun 2021 03:54 AM PDT

URGENT identification needed ! putting my Xbox back together because I'd bought a new laser online which I didn't think worked (previous post) I was inserting the disc drive into its place, when as I'm hooking in the cables to the drive I spot this small metal piece I've never seen. Help pls.

Found these mixed in with DVDs at my local thrift shop, haven't played CODMW2 since I loaned out my copy 10 years ago, always wanted to try Deadly premonition, and i never got around to the gears games, not sure what Stormrise is but I'll check it out.

Where can I find certain game titles for my region?

    Posted: 25 Jun 2021 06:39 AM PDT

I have an Xbox 360 and started looking for games online for my nephew. The physical copies are extremely rare here in South Africa due to the fact that almost everyone has a next gen console (I cannot afford it). Any physical copies are of a limited variety (most of the time it's Tiger Woods PGA Golf, or Rugby games, although I have to travel a distance to get a hold of good games. At one time I saw Bayonetta and Diablo 3).

I recently looked at the Xbox Marketplace and discovered two cool demos: Monster Jam: Battlegrounds and NBA Jam: On Fire Edition. When trying to get the full version of these games, it was unavailable. Upon further research I found out that my region cannot get the game

Where can I find the full versions of these games?

Help with 360 Slim: Really slow to boot, no sound, HDD removal doesn't change anything.

    Posted: 25 Jun 2021 10:04 AM PDT

So my beloved 360 Slim has been working fine until this past week when I went to boot it up and it was so slow to boot, like nearly a minute of it just having the green centre dot lit up, then finally slowly booting up and maybe taking a further 30 seconds of the white loading screen to load the UI.

Menus are all really laggy, but it's still able to load up games and connect to xbox live.

There's also no sound coming at all, no menu nav sound, bootup screen has no sound, games, etc.

I've removed the HDD to see if it was that failing, but that hasn't changed anything. Seems to be an issue with the console itself.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated :(

    Grinding noise problem

    Posted: 25 Jun 2021 12:57 AM PDT

I just bought a 360 slim and when I put discs in it it makes a very loud grinding noise that gets fixed a minute or two later .

I just wanted to know if this is a serious problem and do I have to get it fixed ? The games work fine but the loud noise worries me . Thanks.

I grew up with an Xbox 360 in my room. It was the first home console I bought myself and I’ve gotta say, going back to it was lots of fun! Most titles I replayed still hold up.

Is the X Box 360 worth it in 2021, or the X Box One?

I can't buy clothes for my original Xbox Avatar

    Posted: 24 Jun 2021 02:03 PM PDT

First of all, I use the Xbox 360 avatar because I love the Xbox 360 avatar style and especially the Xbox 360 culture (unfortunately I couldn't use the Xbox 360 at the time because I was little at the time).

Now my problem is, I choose one outfit from Xbox original avatar editor (PC). Then it says to me add payment method (I already added my payment methods to Microsoft before this thing. They are still there). After that, it directs me to the site I will add via Google Chrome, I write my payment information and accept it. Then it sends me to the page of the item I will buy, I press buy, but it says add payment method again. And this continues in a continuous cycle. And I thought about getting an Xbox 360 theme to try it on something else, I guess, it gave the same result if I remember correctly. How can I fix this?

I asked r/xbox too but they didn't answered for now.

    HDD replacement questions

    Posted: 24 Jun 2021 04:46 AM PDT

Hi, I'm starting to suspect that the HDD in my 360 is dying. Reason being that it all the sudden takes a lot longer to sign in, and it locked up on me yesterday. Would I be able to just replace the HDD with an SSD or would there be more steps? I believe I have an Xbox 360 Slim.

My piece of shit Rock Candy Xbox 360 Controller

    Posted: 24 Jun 2021 01:31 PM PDT

So I bought a Blue rock candy Xbox 360 controller, came in today, and worked beautifully..... for 15 minutes. I was testing it out to see if it worked like it was supposed to, and for the most part, it did, until it started drifting to the left when I was playing Injustice. Flash's dumbass was moving to the left. I knew how to fix it, but didn't have the right sized staples, so I thought to put it back together, until the ABXY button mat fell off, and the pin that held it in place fell off. It was at that moment, I knew, the controller was a piece of shit, and I just tossed that shit into the garbage, nothing left from it, and from now on, only buying shit Nintendo or Playstation related. I'm gonna get my ass an Xbox One instead, and then buy shit for that instead.

My Xbox 360 gets hot in the dashboard without even interacting with the controller

    Posted: 24 Jun 2021 08:19 AM PDT

So i noticed that it gets hot for some reason. I bought the Xbox 360 S in 2013 but never played so much. I think there is dust in the fans, I didn't took apart because I don't have any instruments.

Calling any kind, 360 modders out there.

    Posted: 24 Jun 2021 11:43 AM PDT

Hey guys so back in the day as a pre-teen I hopped in a CoD WaW zombies lobby and had my whole account set to -2,000,000,000 xp. I've recently been building my 360 collection and getting all the achievements for some of my favorite games. I can't 100% WaW with my account messed up like that so was wondering if any modders could boost my XP so I can play normally.
