    FPS Boost Is a Winner

    To be completely honest, after playing games at 60 Fps on the series X, I tried to play Far Cry 5 but it was capped at 30fps. It felt so jittery and I'm probably just sensitive, but too jittery to play. Far Cry 5 had been one of my favorite games, so it was a bummer it only ran at 30fps. But now....with FPS Boost on the Series X, it runs at a butter smooth 60fps. FAR Cry has never felt and looked so good on console. With Xbox adding features like Auto HDR, FPS Boost, and their back compatible library, Playstation is just not competing. Makes me glad I went with Xbox for this generation, especially with Microsoft promising even more gamer focused features coming up. Hopefully all new Series X games will run at 60fps 🤞

    I have the disc version for the xbox one and it is the gold edition. For the 1st time yesterday I install bit and it worked fine played for like a 1/2 hour and then all of a sudden the screen froze couldn't get out of it or anything. Then it turned black.

    Since that time I have uninstalled everything reinstalled it, restarted my xbox and every other thing I can think of in the game still will not load. It brings up the assassin's creed logo and then goes black and comes up with an error.

    I have been on the phone with Microsoft and chatted with ubisoft to see if I could just switch out the game but no one will do it Because I've had the game for more than 90 days but this was my 1st time playing it and now it seems to be a bad disc from what I can tell.

    Please please please is there anyone out there that knows the solution to get this game to work? I need help I really want to play the game.

    Elite Two Help & Advice Needed!

    So I've finally gotten myself an Elite Two controller and I've definitely been enjoying it. But ever since I heard about the controllers with extra buttons, I've always thought about how awesome an idea it was to have more and new controller inputs that would make use of the part of our gamer hands that we never use! Previously wasted potential finally making its way into the light!

    Here's where my problem is tho. I also play some games on my laptop. So, my question and the point of concern is;

    Is it possible to configure the back peddle buttons as ACTUAL additional input (for steam/pc and maybe even for the console) instead of duplicate buttons and other commands? If it is, How do I do this?

    I've been researching all day. I feel like I've looked almost everywhere, but I've gotten nowhere and can't seem to find any answers.

    Did I win something without realizing it?

    Whenever I go into the little Microsoft Store, I see all sorts of games that say "Free With GAME PASS" on them. That's cool, a little advertising never hurt anyone. Except it absolutely lets me download and play them. Without having paid for Game Pass.

    Looking in the Xbox App, it has a little spot that basically encourages me to get Game Pass, which implies it thinks I don't have it.

    So...

    Anyone know what's going on there?

    Note: Microsoft does not have payment information on hand for me, so they're not secretly charging me somehow.

    Game pass Cloud gaming, controller not working

    So I got invited and decided to try it on my Mac everything seems to be working apart from the controller. It connects via Bluetooth but I nothing happens with the game. Like the game doesnt react to anything, like the controller is not connected. Has anyone else encountered this?

    Account Balance not updating

    Hey there!

    Today i preordered Resident Evil Village and used my remaining cash from the account balance and the rest with paypal. Afterwards I also wanted to preorder Hood: Outlaw & Legend but it still showed me the option to use my Account Balance (which I completely used for RE V) + paypal which didn't work in the end. On Microsoft. com it says my Balance is at 0 but on Xbox it won't update. Problem there is my brother gave me a Prepaid Code since I am sharing with him and when i redeemed the code it first showed the wrong amount (said I got 20€, my new Balance is 10€[!]) but it still showed the cash i had left for RE V.

    I tried deleting profile - hardreset - unplugging - restarting + downloading profile but it won't update properly so i can't preorder Hood at the moment.

    Has anyone else encountered this specific issue and if so, did it sort out by itself or did you do something to get it sorted?

    Edit: The 20€ my brother gave me are showing up correctly on Microsoft. com.

    Rechargable XBOX Controller

    New XBOX X owner here. I just got lucky and actually was able to buy an XBOX series X. I'm enjoying it! I was wondering if there is a rechargeable controller out there so I don't produce a lot of battery garbage. Any advice?
