    Forgive me if this is a dumb question but, I have an Xbox One X but I play on an almost 10 year old 1080p TV. I noticed the other day that the xbox had been running 720p for a while now and I was wondering if the games I play would be slower if I boosted the resolution?

    Looking for help buying a headset

    Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows a reliable headset for under £50. its for my 11 year old brother so im looking to buy him something he wont break easy and has a decent mic for party chat. Thanks for any help.

    Evolve, the best flawed game.

    Evolve, possibly one of the best flawed games that you can't even play anymore. This was one of my first Xbox One games that I've ever gotten aside from Black Ops 3 and Minecraft. I loved the hell out of this game and I wanted to see if you guys remember this game as well. The servers were shut down in 2018 but I still hold on to this game as if it never did shut down. I think there is still dedicated servers but the random players I would find was about half the fun of the game. I loved the beautiful maps, environment, and playable characters. These are something that is important to me, maybe you're someone with a taste for gameplay and competition. The game had all of it. The monsters upclose contrasted to ask of it's surroundings but far away still managed to blend in, as well as the tactics of eating smaller monsters and getting away with it without being tracked was difficult but if you got away then it paid off. The hunters, although small and with limited movement, still packed a punch along with their social abilities. To me this 4v1 was fairly balanced and fair to all players, but ranked was a different story. This game had taken me and my friends attention fast and it was the only thing we possibly played for days straight aside from Warzone. Unlike other 4v1 games such as Friday the 13th or Dead by Daylight, this one has amazing graphics, atmosphere, and gameplay overall. I wish Evolve stayed long enough for Evolve: Stage 2 to release, I want to see another game like this to appear. A big argument with this game was that people complained about the pay-to-win aspect and what-not but when you look at other games released during it's time, such as Halo 5 and it's packs, Black Ops 3 and it's DLC Weapons, Dead by Daylight and it's killers, I'd say it's microtransactions were miniscule compared to others. Most of the microtransactions were skins or a few characters, which Dead by Daylight has more DLC characters than base characters, and Halo 5's millions of packs for different weapons. If only this game was given a second chance or predecessor.

    Mute hotkey not working for Xbox game bar

    I am on Windows and when I try to use the shortcut to mute in a party is windows alt M but every time I try it it doesn't work. I tried setting a new key inside but nothing works and everywhere I look online I can't find an answer, any ideas?

    New to Xbox

    Just picked up a series X from the Target restock yesterday and I'm new to the Xbox(Haven't played an Xbox since the 360). Is their anyway to download multiple games and once? Anymore help and tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    I dont know if Microsoft takes feedback from this subreddit. But its worth a shot.

    2) and 3) should be relatively easy to fix. I share this feedback with enthusiasm as a first time Xbox user.

    1) Recently I was playing Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. The connection broke, but my internet connection and wi-fi was fine on other devices. Every screen on home except the top one was not showing and when I went to test connection on Xbox Series X it showed something like "not connected to a network". I rebooted Xbox Series X, then internet seemed to work again on it.

    2) I paid for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Too often when I press a game it registers a double press and the game is added to my download queue.

    3) There are some Xbox One X enhanced games that are not listed that way in the Game Pass collection. For example, Kingdom Hearts 1.5.

    Lucid Sound ls35x headset questions.

    I have an ls50x which is quite nice but I picked up and ls35x for my xbox. It is sold as and xbox head set but I have a few questions and sense the tech support number just sends me to voicemail I thought maybe others here would have some experience.

    First of the power button doesn't seem to work and sticks. ( I am planning to exchange or return it). Second it doesn't seem to charge and only turns on at all when plugged in. Again it's going back to the store but I don't know if I should give up on it all together or if I just got a bad headset.

    The 3rd problem I have is even though it's marketed as a xbox head set in game chats or party chats only seem to work if I use would the cable to connect it to the controller. This means I have no volume control sense nob that is suppose to work for party chat does not function properly. Are these things total garbage or did I just get a bad unit?

    A week ago I managed to order myself an xbox series x. I was very excited because tge day of the release I was infront of my local Walmart to buy one but then we got an employee come to us to tell us that we could only purchase it online. I've been waiting for almost 6 month to get one and i finally had one now. It arrived on monday of this week and when i got it i automatically opened it and set it up. Then came to the thing that "stressed" me the most with my new console and it was to see if my external hard drive that i used on my xbox one x would work on my series x. To my surprise it worked!

    But here is now my problem:

    I've had my brand new series x for three days and last night it just stopped properly detecting my external hard drive. At first i thought it was just a small bug amd simply disconnected and reconnected it. But then it just wouldn't read any games i had on my hard drive. If i start a game it just doesn't do anything amd after a while it gives me the "your game was taking to long to start" message. It also sometimes just doesn't detect my hard drive even tho it is properly plugged in. I truly tried everything i could but i can't seem to find any other solutions. Please if anybody knows the answer to my problem help me. I just want to be able to play my Xbox :(

    All my achievements are gone

    I logged in tonight to play some Gungeon and I realise I only have 480 gamerscore. I had up to 40k before and now it's all gone. I tried hard-reseting and pulling out the plug for about 5 minutes but it still is 480. Is this just a server thing or are my achievements gone for good?

    Buzzing noise

    Both of my Xbox controllers have buzzing noise and It's in my headset. So when I talk to people they hear a buzzing noise. I bought a new headset and it's still there :( do I need a new controller? wireless headset?

    Xcloud had annoying input lag when using my phone, though stadia was fine. Just tried the desktop Xbox beta and it's much improved! Very impressed with the service the input delay was vastly improved.

    I went for the PS5 at launch and I'll use that for the bulk of third party games and exclusive but I'm missing game pass so wanna pick one up as a little back compat/gears machine and so I don't miss out on any exclusives.

    Just wondering how people are liking it, if anyone regrets not going for the x?
