    If you played and liked Nier Automata on Gamepass, I strongly suggest picking up Nier Replicant.

    One of my favorite games on Gamepass is Nier Automata, it surprised me with how good the story was.

    If you like games with a good story give it a try. If you already played it and liked it give Replicant a try. I'm 5 hours in and it feels so much at home after Automata.

    Why is the Xbox YouTube app such a piece of garbage?

    Every time I update the console, every time I have a power failure, or every time the console feels like it, it signs me out of YouTube.

    Why the hell do we need to use a smartphone browser and a stupid code to sign into fking YouTube???

    And then click four more screens of choosing accounts and permissions. Why the hell can't we sign into YouTube directly on the Xbox and have it STAY LOGGED IN?

    Available Now with Xbox Game Pass | Spring 2021

    A new update for the Falconeer released on Xbox and all gamepass platforms.

    Today The Falconeer got another major update to version 1.4.3.0. A patch that improves the game across the board from visual upgrades to fixes, gameplay and balancing. Additionally it adds Brazilian Portuguese localisation to the game on all platforms. This last addition based on popular demand from Brazilian fans. This update comes hot on the heels of the Atun's Folly content expansion that was released last month.

    Here's a breakdown of all the improvements

    Language

    • Added Portuguese Brazilian language text support.

    UI And Settings

    • Added a gamma slider to settings.
    • Photo-mode bindings within control menu now has a title.
    • Added colour coded button icons for Xbox X, Y, A and B buttons.

    Gameplay

    • For normal and easy difficulty, all ammo is now refilled upon landing anywhere inhabited.
    • For hardcore difficulty all ammo is now refilled at your home, pyro pots are refilled anywhere inhabited.
    • Upon death you no longer lose any ammo pots you bought, only splinters.
    • After completing a chapter, every mission of that chapter is now listed and can be replayed
    • Storms have been made slightly more dangerous with increased flying effects.
    • Diving into the water will now always stop ammo overcharging within storms.
    • Mission combat events now de-spawn and reset only at further distances.
    • Pirate Hunters are cleared for clean-up after the player redeems their status as pirate.
    • Pirate Hunters may now spawn if you load a new game.
    • Splash damage from exploding turrets fire reduced.
    • Rocket fire damage reduced by 20%.
    • Increased the health of the Dreadnot during Treefall mission.

    Visuals

    • Storms have been visually improved and can now be spotted from a distance.
    • Increased the default range of the compass and the scaling of compass items.
    • Made character portrait animations snappier.
    • Character portraits now have different idle animations which won't sync together.
    • Characters within their portraits now have roughed up hairlines.
    • Tree of Souls is now less cluttered and visually improved.
    • Caves have been visually improved.

    Bug Fixes

    1. Fixed an issue whereby some ships were intersecting rocks and ending up in strange places.
    2. Fixed a flicker which occurred when the compass is switched between exploration and combat mode.
    3. Added a missing race marker.
    4. Fixed issue where fish could be caught within caves.
    5. Added additional preventions to stop wreckdive cutscenes from not displaying.
    6. Fixed issue with level up warning popping-up in the main menu.
    7. Splash damage limited so insta-kills of ships is less likely.

    Unread message glitch

    I have this annoying glitch where I have four unread messages and whenever I read them it goes away but a little while after they come right back. I tried deleting the convo but they just reappear. I've fully restarted my Xbox and that didn't work. Suggestions?

    I've had a pro controller for a few months now, and the A paddle button has seemed to be pushed in a bit making useless. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

    Copilot makes gaming with little kids possible

    For all of you guys out there with a little kid wanting to play with you, turn on copilot in your controller settings. It has been a lot of fun playing Lego Star Wars with my 3 year old because now he feels like he's actually participating (which he is to an extent). I had no idea this existed until someone pointed it out to me, I just thought I'd share.

    Where is "backwards compatibility" tab to see all games in xbox store? Missing

    Used to be able to see a special tab for it and could see all games inside the xbox store on consold. I click store, games home and then am able to scroll down till "by genre" and backwards tab doesnt appear anywhere anymore

    Xbox Controller sticker on back, How Can I get Serial Number?

    I cannot read the numbers and a large portion of the barcode is gone on the back of my Elite Controller 1.

    I was wondering if there was any way to get the serial number by connecting the controller through my Xbox or PC? Any help?
