| Posted: 03 Apr 2021 11:25 AM PDT Hello guys, recently I was wondering what could I play on my Xbox One S. I can't afford any games from the store because I'm not an adult. I have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription though, so Game Pass suggestions would be prefered. I played Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and it holds a special place in my heart. I have collected 92% achievements of it. I also gave a try to Titan Fall 2 and I was really surpised because I love mech science fiction. And the last game I completed since the time I bought my xbox, which was almost one year ago was Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Those 3 were the only games I completed. I know there are lots of good games in game pass, but I'm afraid to try them out because I know only few of them and I don't want to waste my time to download every of them. I also gave a try to Fall Out 4, but I understood that the game isn't for me because it's hard to manage your inventory when you have a lot of items and when I do certain action I regret it and I lose motivation to continue. So I'm asking your help everyone. Maybe you can suggest something that I should DEFINATELY give a try, something that I would enjoy playing like these 3. | Who made the Switch this generation (from a different system to Xbox) - Curious about why? Posted: 03 Apr 2021 10:52 AM PDT TLDR: Really considering making the switch to xbox. I'd just like to hear from people who went from Sony or Nintendo to Microsoft. I got my playstation on Launch Day ... and since launch, it felt underwhelming. The main issue was the controller (uncomfortable). Also, the console didn't feel next gen (user interface / no quick resume, etc) ... its a good system, don't get me wrong. In the last two months, i've been doing some research and realized that I may have been missing out. GamePass sounds like a monster of a service. I'm not big on subscription services like Netflix, Spotify, even cell phones (i use free texting apps only from wifi), - but i can't ignore the value that gamepass is bringing to gaming. Also, Native 4k and 60 fps / quick resume / download games before you buy them / backwards compatible / possibly a more comfortable controller / extended storage / play games from a tablet / and a sleeker design ..... It had me thinking hard. I'd really like to hear from people who made the switch this gen. How is your experience. If this kind of post isn't allowed, my bad. I spoke with few friends and some of them have the same situation. I keep on getting few (3-4) followers daily. However, they unfollow me within 1 second. Majority of them are streamers, influencers, instagram celebrities or wannabies. Some of them even had a 'tool' in their bio. I assume their goal is to have someone follow them back so they can become 'xbox celebrities' (or something like this). Initially I didn't really bother. However, I started to see a huge problem in it. I was playing ESO yesterday and got 3 consecutive 'X added you as a friend' which was over my health bar. As a result, I died because some randoms prevented me from having full view on what's happening in the game. I googled this today and saw a youtube clip and discord for this method. They have ID list and run some kind of script to bulk add people and immediately remove them. For now it's relatively unknown and having up to 5 daily isn't a big deal but I can see a huge potential problem if thousands of wannabies decide to run it, essentially making your casual after work xbox rest time frustrating. Especially if people start to abuse it like crazy. What's your impression? Personally I think bulk adding people and removing them at the same time using external tools and scripts should result in a ban (it also adds unnecessary traffic to xbox servers). If they want to do it manually, fine by me as it's their way to spend their time. However, at the current stage it just makes my time with xbox so much worse. [link] [comments] | ||

| Xbox keeps kicking me out of games Posted: 03 Apr 2021 01:01 PM PDT Whenever I try to open a game, the game's startup screen appears for almost 5-10 seconds, then it kicks me back to home. Then, a message appears that reads "You need this update, but we can't get to it right now.". Also, I'm apparently still playing the game because I have the option to "quit" it. The only game that I own where this does not happen is Hitman 2 and it takes 2 tried just to open it. I've tried disconnecting the power cord, doing a hard reboot and even turned my router off and on. Is there something up with the servers? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 03 Apr 2021 08:59 AM PDT Recently got an xBox Series S so I can play online multiplayer with my Dad - who has a 360 - obviously with backward compatible games. I am unable to see him as online, despite his being online - nor can I interact / add / msg him and visa versa. We've tried numerous times to no avail. It is not the teredo IP issue - as that has already been resolved - the Multiplayer Test / Network Test and Nat Type are all good to go. I've also tried disconnecting and reconneting / signing out - signing back in and hard reset etc etc.. I have a gamepass ultimate account and he also has xBox live account - both showing as 'appear online' - we've check privacy and all the other settings - totally at a loss now. I thought it worked at first but then it asked my number, but it would only let me choose from available country codes. So in that case I used a temporal number to claim it. USA for example. I had xbox gold, and basically my sister without asking inserted the code and turned my gold subscrtion into the 7 day xbox game pass ultimate the pringles code offered.
