    Today I brought by Xbox 360 to my school because we are doing some sort of testing thing, and in the afternoon we get to bring our game consoles/phones/etc. to play. So I brought my XBOX 360. Stuffed it in my backpack (of course I put bags and bubble wrap), went to school then me and my friends had a blast. We played Skate 3 and some UNO along with a few Kinect games.

    I was matchmaking on Kinect Sports for a while and realised people have probably moved on to the series S and X by now and r/kinect is inactive, just curious if anybody actually plays Kinect games to this day lol

    Finally(!!) found a fix for my 360 S thinking there was a wired connection in the ethernet port, which prevents it using the built-in WiFi

    ETA: it's fixed! I just unplugged the hdmi and plugged it back in I've been replaying oblivion the last week and last night I turn on the Xbox and there's a faint grid pattern on the screen. It doesn't go away when on games either. How do I get rid of this? Or is my Xbox finally dying

    Need help with identifying what's wrong with my 360

    I recently purchased a Xbox 360 for $5 (no power brick or video cables included). From inspecting the console and it only having AV port & looking at the MFR Date it's a Xenon (which I know is already iffy and toss it aside) I wanted to see what it has on it before using it for parts. I used the power brick that I have from an old Zephyr of mine and when attempting to turn it on, the led light on the brick goes from orange (standby) to green but instantly to red. I'm not sure what's causing this and read it could be the mosfet chips (which I'm not sure if that could be the issue). I took it to a few shops and they said it could be a short in the system and it's a lost cause.

    Any advice would be appreciated on what to do with it next

    Those who have ever played Counter-Strike: GO on Xbox 360, has all your stats been wiped as well?

    So I launched Counter-Strike: GO for the first time in a few years to see that it was as if my account had never played the game before, no awards, stats, or leaderboard rankings. I was wondering if there's anyone else who could check their stats to see what they see on their end.

    Just to clear a few things up, this is not something that can just be deleted via save file. This is tied to your actual Xbox account, so I'm very confused on what's going on right now. Thanks, hope to hear back from someone soon.

    I've already tried reinstalling both the game, plus redownloading the account.

    Is getting GTA V on the 360 worth it?

    Recently I bought back an Xbox 360 from someone so I could play the Banjo classics and other old games, but the people who I bought the xbox from gave me some other classics too like Call of Duty, Halo, and some other game I don't remember. I tried to play a bit of COD but holy shit my xbox fan is so loud, thought it was gonna explode. Anyways, I have never played GTA in my life and I really wanna give it a try, even though a lot of people say it isn't worth it anymore. But also like I said about my COD game, my xbox is super loud when it comes to big games. Is it worth it? If it's really that bad for my xbox I could always get it on my PC, I just rather have it on console.

    Xbox 360 XDK Demo/Press Kit Pricing

    I've got an old XDK Demo Kit kicking around, and was wondering how much they typically go for. It's the white model with the HDD, though I'm pretty sure the software that was loaded onto it was wiped before it made its way to me. It would come with the power brick and HDMI cord, but no controllers.

    If anyone knows how to restore the software onto the machine since it was wiped prior to my owning it I'd love to do that and have it be fully functional again.

    Any help would be appreciated in figuring this out. And also if anyone has any resources for how to identify more solidly the specific type of dev kit it is, that would be useful as well.
