| How do you preserve your game discs yet play the games? Posted: 11 Apr 2021 01:46 PM PDT I have a fair amount of game discs. When I collected PC games, I'd really take care of the boxes too, so some are worth quite a bit now. Regardless, my question is if you still want to play games and refrain from putting in the disc, is there any way perhaps the console can authenticate the disc, eject, and then just let you play? The default is that it's stuck in there and even spins up, despite that I copied the game media to the hard disk. At least then the chance of scratching is minimized if it's ejected? I'm not even sure game publishers will issue a new copy for damaged discs anymore because the console has aged so much 😢 [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 11 Apr 2021 10:28 AM PDT So I change my Xbox 360 account email address online but now when I try to log in on the Xbox 360 it keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I've reset the password many times to no avail. I turned on two factor authentication, installed Microsoft Authenticator, attempting to log in on Xbox 360 again, app notified me, have me a password, same result it wouldn't accept it. | Can't download apps on my xbox 360 after logging in Posted: 11 Apr 2021 05:27 AM PDT I have had some problems with my Xbox 360 because I can't download apps to my console. If I'm not logged in, I can see all the 7 dashboard tabs normally (bing, home, social, games, movies&tv, apps, settings) but if I go to the 'apps' section and then click some app to download (e.g. Netflix), it leads me to a screen showing the options for the app (Download, Pin to home, Rate), where I click 'Download', and then I'm requested to log in with my Xbox Live Account (I've no Gold subscription if it helps). Until now everything's OK but when I log in with my account, it returns me to the screen with the options screen for Netflix BUT, the 'Download' button isn't there anymore. After that if I go back to the dashboard only can see 5 tabs (home, social, games&apps, settings) and can't even find the Netflix app nor any other else. [link] [comments] | ||

I recent bought and Xbox 360 and some games but when I inserted the game into the tray, I loaded my game up, My game had instantly crashed back to my homescreen I have tried to see if there is any solution like cleaning the disc tray but I seen a cleaning disk for the laser/lens but I am not sure if this is the right solution so that is why I came to this subreddit to see if these issues can be helped with.
