    New addition to my collection. Modern warfare 2 edition. Wanted one when they were release but i was broke. Finally got one.

    Finally beat this for the first time! I got halfway through when I first owned it on 360 back in the day. Almost completed the remastered version on PS4 before my subscription ended. Now completed it on the 360. What a great game!

    Hey Y'all,

    I've got a buddy who knows I mod the OG Xbox, and wanted to know if I'd be interested in some rare/historic parts for the 360. The two things he was offering include a "Slim cover for the Phat, a prototype from M$ engineers, it was never used because of the development of the 360 Slim." and an "Infectus modchip. Used to help develop the first-ever JTAG mod. This things is super rare, super old, and still works. Can be used on any revision of the 360 (Slim, Phat, except Winchester), Wii, and PS2."

    Controller Conundrum

    Looking for some input here:

    I'm using a third party wired XB1 controller since all of my 360s have deadzone or shoulder button issues. I've also got an OG Microsoft wireless adapter. My rig does not have bluetooth and if I am to add, I'm not half-assing with a dongle as I've already got the dongle madness.

    I've been in search of a 360 "elite" or "special edition" controller in near-new shape and recently got one pulled over on me with an eBay listing- I'm not interested in paying 100+ on a NIB one.

    So the impasse I'm at is, continue searching for a new-old-stock 360 controller, or bite the bullet and switch to bluetooth or the new-now-old XB1 wireless adapter. I'm also open to hearing out other people's ideas.

    Does anyone know of a good source for new/professionally refurbished controllers/ROW new production stock? It looks like 2nd run controllers for emerging markets are still available on ebay but look kinda sketchy.

    It also looks like Hyperkin at one point had a contract to refurb controllers but no longer do so

    Interested to hear thoughts on 3rd party controllers, or if anyone knows of a refurb service?

    Because of the recent PS4 cmos battery drama I wanted to know if the xbox 360 has any similar issue that can eventually make the console useless

    If you dont know what I'm talking about I'll explain. It's been recently discovered that if the PS4's internal clock battery, if it does then you cant play any of your games digital or physical. Now you can just replace the battery with a new one and then you have to connect your console to the PSN. Problem is, if one day Sony shuts down PSN for the PS4, on day its gonna become an expensive brick essentially. Now I was wondering if the Xbox 360 has an similar issue because I value game preservation a lot.
