    SOOOO i posted here a couple days ago saying i was searching for someone that i met 8.5 years ago on xbox 360...WELL. i did it. I found him. THE SEARCH IS OVER and we've rekindled our friendship AND as a bonus people that were also in our group are still in touch. we played left 4 dead 2 last night. Who says online friends aren't friends? we're both in disbelief still but i wanted to share for anyone that saw.

    Microsoft will continue to buy game studios, according to Satya Nadella, after splashing $7.5 billion on Bethesda's parent company.

    "You can't wake up one day and say, 'Let me build a game studio,'"

    Nadella said. Instead, he says Microsoft Game Studios can thrive by simply buying already established names. Xbox chief Phil Spencer adds the company's focus on games content will help the Xbox brand grow:

    "Content is just the incredible ingredient to our platform that we continue to invest in. This doubles the size of our creative organization."

    I have 2 issues:

    On my Xbox I can't seem to record my own mic. It works fine with everyone else but me

    I did something really funny on Human Fall Flat, I wanted to record it so I pressed "record last 30 seconds" and it recorded a 1 second clip... The funniest thing just gone to waste

    This sounds like a dumb question and im not at all trying to rant, but I want to know if they even check reports. Theres a massive influx in cheaters on several games ive been playing and it feels like reporting does no good at all when theyre blatantly using cheats. The only report I see actually getting noticed is for foul language which isnt even a problem for most people so i dont understsnd why they even keep the report feature

    When watching movies, I have to use the controller to pause/play etc or watch shows from an app. Is there a remote that I can browse channels, play/pause etc?

    Do you think the Game Pass Streaming will come the Xbox console? I know you can download the games via game pass but streaming them direct to the Xbox like you can on PSNow would be soooo much better

    Audio Problem with Xbox Game Bar and Airpods (Windows)

    Whenever I am in an xbox party chat, it mutes all other audio through my computer. This only happens when I'm using headphones, when it just comes through my speakers I have audio like normal. How do I fix this?

    What to do with one S that doesn’t work?

    I have an old Xbox one S that doesn't work anymore because of water damage.

    A little bit of water went into the console while it was on and it stopped working immediately, did not turn on afterwards either. I bought a one X after that but just found the old one S again, wondering if I can do anything with the parts. Thank you

    Buying a Series S as a companion console for Bethesda games, good idea?

    When news broke out about Microsoft purchasing Zenimax and their vague answers on exclusivity (up until a few days ago) I kept thinking that I'd have to purchase an Xbox console if I'd want to be able to play TES6 and FO5 whenever they release (possibly in a few years). A sort of hope for the best but prepare for the "worst" scenario.

    Now that there's a more definitive answer I'm looking to get me a Series S as a companion console with my PS5 just for Bethesda games. There's the very, very slim chance of Sony ever allowing Game Pass on the PS5 in the future, but that's more wishful thinking and if I have to wait for that I might be waiting a long time (or even forever).
    Luckily ESO is still being supported on Playstation. I spent too much time and money on that game to just start over on a new console.

    I don't care much about 4K. My tv doesn't support it. I don't have any previous Xbox discs either, so I don't mind getting a digital-only console. On top of that, the Series S is a lot more available than the Series X where I live.

    I am worried a little about storage capacity, but if I'd only use the Xbox for Bethesda games such as Skyrim, FO4 and eventually replace those two with TES6 and FO5, should I be worried about storage? I don't really have any interest in other games that are exclusive to Xbox.

    Would it be better to go for the Game Pass or rebuy Skyrim and FO4 (GOTY) digitally?

    I already own FO4 on PS4 (disc and digital thanks to PS+) and on PC (can't play it much because my pc is a potato and I bought it cheap so I could make simple mods for my PS4 version). I played the shit out of that game for years. The reason I no longer dare to play it on my PS4/PS5 is that dreaded 0kb bug, which seems to be a Sony related bug that'll never get fixed. It corrupted a 3-year progress and it's making me hesitate to start over and risk getting that bug popping up again.

    Same with Skyrim. Although I only have the PS4 version. I heard it also has the 0kb bug, but I haven't encountered it yet. However, the mods are very... meh.

    I know the Xbox versions don't have the 0kb bug and have much better mods.

    So, am I better off purchasing a Series S with a Game Pass or rebuy the digital versions? Any other suggestions?
    Please, no console war hate. That's so early 2000s and out of style.

    I'm in no rush, but my birthday's coming up in a few weeks and who knows I might gift myself an extra console.

    Just got xbox game pass ultimate and to my plesant suprise my non supported controller works just fine with game streaming thing, its the SN30Pro+ It isnt listed anywhere i dont think.

    Any 6+ player co-op game suggestions?

    Me and about 5 or 6 of my friends are gonna have a xbox live quarantine party since we can't all hang out. Gonna have some drinks and play some games but we're having trouble finding things that sound fun. I'm gonna get Jackbox, if you guys have more suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
