    Whenever I try and log in recently it says I am not connected to Xbox live, even though my internet is working just fine. And my brothers Xbox isn’t having any problems. Does anyone know how to fix this because it’s annoying af

    I've lived in rural North Carolina for my entire life, and the only ISP in our area is CenturyLink through DSL. We've paid around $100 a month for whats supposed to be 25Mb/s (outrageous pricing simply because we have no other options even offered to us) but most of the time I'll maybe get 3Mb/s down through wired connection and average around 75ms-100ms latency (often higher than that). With video games being my favorite hobby, this is less than ideal especially considering COD updates can take full days or even more to download, and once I get in the game it's a game of praying that I don't lag. I gave up hope of ever getting cable or fiber internet a while ago until now! Elon Musk's SpaceX has launched and expanding Starlink, a satellite based ISP which offers 150Mb/s-50Mb/s with 20ms-40ms latency! It's still early in production but the plan is to offer high speed internet connection globally by the end of this year with focus on rural areas that don't get good internet! It's $100 to signup and get on the list to be one of the first people in your area to get it when it becomes available! I really hope that this post reaches other people in this community that have to deal with poor internet speeds that limits their gaming consumption, there finally looks to be a bright side for us.

    Xbox live gold code not working

    I have recently started up my old Xbox 360 and decided to get a 3 month Xbox live card. I typed in the code multiple times and have made sure I'm not making any mistakes and it is telling my that my code isn't valid. I haven't played Xbox for about 7 years is there something I'm doing wrong?

    Does Dolby Atmos really matter for a soundbar with the Series X?

    I just got my Xbox Series X, but having a few issues. I have the Sony HT-Z9F soundbar that goes to a 75" Sony X800H. It looks gorgeous in HDR, when it works. I have it run HDMI from Xbox to the Soundbar to the TV, which is how I'd prefer it it run, but now I'm getting issues with that soundbar. If I play a HDR game, it works great, but when I try going back to the Xbox home screen, the video will glitch out until I turn off HDR in the menu of the soundbar, I think the HDR processor in the soundbar is having issue flipping back to nonHDR for the menu, and same issues with nonHDR supported games. When I run the HDMI from the Xbox straight to the TV, it takes away all these issues, but then I'll have to run an optical audio line from the TV to the soundbar. I'm fine with running it like that, but I will lose Dolby Atmos support by using an optical cable. My question is does it really matter? It's just a 3 channel soundbar, it's not like I'm really getting true surround in the first place, so will I even notice the change?

    Now that the Xbox app isn't in beta, I'm noticing it has practically every feature that the console companion had. Viewing friends that are online, viewing achievements, and more. The only things I can't seem to find on the Xbox app are seeing "clubs" and actually connecting to a console to turn it on/off. Is there any value in the console companion?

    Reset console

    Backwards compatibility questions

    I just don't get it, what's the reason that all games are not bc? Both og Xbox and 360, their entire libraries should be bc, it just kinda angers me that I can't even play the 360s prince of Persia that's all.

    Can't download a CD game

    Hello been playing xbox casually for around 5 years now and i've went through maybe 6 controllers just off of the plastic triggers and buttons getting jammed and stuck to the point where its unusable. Looking for one under $40 that can last a long time just for casual playing. Thank you in advance.
