    Xbox hotspot question

    I'm using 4g hotspot of my iPhone, my 4g is 100-120mbs download speed according to the Xbox speed test, yet when I try and download stuff it's 100-200kbs any ideas ?

    Walmart Series X question

    I managed to secure an Xbox Series X from the Walmart drop on the 18th. Got it in the first wave right at 1:30 CST.

    Today the pending charge has disappeared from my account and the money is back in my account. It has me worried.

    Has anyone gotten an X through Walmart and could calm my mind and tell me this is normal and everything is still on track?

    1440p monitor xbox series x

    I have seen many people say they can not get 1440p with 120hz with auto detect, but they can if they do it manually by choosing hdmi and then the option becomes available. I have the lenovo legion y27q20 and I have the opposite problem. I can choose 1440p 120 hz with auto detect, but when I choose hdmi and then try to set it to 1440p 120 hz it says the resolution at that refresh rate is not support and reverts to 1080p 120hz. So I am curious if it is not supported when I try to do it manually, but says i'm getting 1440p 120 hz with auto detect, am I really getting that resolution and refresh rate when I have auto detect on and if I am why is it not available when I change auto detect to hdmi?

    How to buy Prey: Mooncrash DLC on PC?

    I'm loving Prey and would like to buy the highly recommended DLC, Mooncrash, but I don't see any options for purchasing it. I got Prey via Game Pass on PC. Not sure what I'm missing so any help would be appreciated .

    My Xbox One Won't Open Network Settings No Matter What, I Need Help

    I've got some kind of bug happening. Last night, I had to turn off the internet on my Xbox. For whatever reason, I couldn't get settings to open. Spam the settings button and it will not work. I fully shut down and restarted my Xbox, spammed it some more, and got settings to open. Then I realized that network settings won't work either. I've been resetting it, clicking on it, shutting it down, just can't get it to open. So I couldn't turn off the internet on my Xbox. So from there I went into my network settings for the modem and blocked my Xbox off the network as a short term solution.

    Skip to today and I can't get my Xbox back on the internet. No online games, no Netflix. Shit. I unblocked my Xbox to see if it would automatically reconnect, and it did. So problem solved there. Except I still can't open my network settings, I can barely get settings itself to open. Once settings is open, all other options inside it work fine, just not network settings. It would be nice to be able to open that menu again.

    So is there any solution to this problem you can think of? Thanks.

    PSA: Backup your Xbox 360 saves on a USB stick BEFORE playing 360 games on a newer console. I launched the original Burnout Paradise on my X1 and my cloud save was overwritten with a new, empty one. Also, Burnout Paradise cannot be played on Xbox 360 if you don't have the updates already installed.

    Here's the TL,DR of what happened to me the past couple of days:

    • I have Game Pass Ultimate and EA games are included in it. Saw Burnout Paradise Remastered is one of the games. Installed it, played it a little. Saves from the original version aren't imported in the new one, so I have to unlock everything again.
    • I fire up my Xbox 360, put my original disc in the drive, and it works well. I had all DLCs installed, and my good old save with all cars unlocked is there.
    • I install the digital version of Burnout Paradise, which I own too thanks to Games with Gold, on my Xbox One. I launch the game, and to my surprise I start the game from scratch. It didn't load my cloud save.
    • After going back and forth, it looks like my cloud save has been overwritten with an empty one. I lost I don't know how many hours from 10+ years ago.

    Frustrated and angry is an understatement. Plus, the original version is not playable anymore on Xbox 360, since the game and all related content has been unlisted. You cannot download the updates since they don't exist.

    Conclusion: before you install and launch a Xbox 360 game on your Xbox One, go fire up your Xbox 360 and make a backup of your saves to a USB stick. That way, you can replace the cloud save if it overwrites your old one.

    You learn of your mistakes, as they say. Can't believe cloud saves can get overwritten so easily, without warning. It's maddening.

    Connecting Xbox One controller to Samsung TV

    I've got a Samsung 4K TV and I'm trying to connect my Xbox controller to it so I can use the Steam Link App but the TV won't recognise it.

    I've tried with the dongle the same way I would on my PC but it's not picking it up.

    I've follow a few YouTube tutorials showing how to go into the TV settings and adding a new Bluetooth device but it always says "device not found".

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Been trying for 3 days. First time on XB1, then went to bed. 2nd online, then got help by chat that told me it was down but status page says it's up. 3rd time is today and now I'm here hoping I'm not just losing my mind.

    Name change

    So here's the thing in the past I have changed my gamertag quite a bit. The last time I changed was a month ago. When I go to change my name it tells me that something went wrong and it does give me a reason.
