    This is the thread where subscribers should bring their Xbox support issues. The collective experience of the Xbox community is one of the most powerful tools to help you fix any gaming issue, and we've been seeing some awesome responses. We love to see gamers helping gamers!

    In the period during Thanksgiving and Christmas in the last few years there were multiple posts that were giveaways that in the end turned out to be fake, while some of these seemed more obvious than others in huge monetary gitcards others were more subtle. A lot often got huge upvotes and more importantly awards. While I'm not saying don't enter giveaways, it's always worth trying for a freebie, be wary about awarding a user an award that will cost you something to give it because they can recieve coins from it. If you see people doing giveaways you have previously won in make sure to comment so people are more secure in the knowledge it is a legitimate giveaway

    From XB1X to XBSS

    Made the switch from Xbox one X to Series S. honestly, I'm blown away by how good the console is. Super fast loading, smooth fast menus and it's virtually silent. It's also really small and compact.

    Incredible. I highly recommend it.

    Xbox Captures not uploading to XBL

    Is anyone else having this issue? Since the end of November, none of my screenshots or game clips will upload to Xbox live. The screenshot is captured, and when I select upload it says that it was uploaded to Xbox live, but when I check on my Xbox or online it doesn't show as uploaded and the only place I can see it is 'on my Xbox'. Uploading to OneDrive works fine.

    On top of that, i have tried to clear space on Xbox live storage by deleting older screenshots from Xbox live on my console. I cleared around 200 screenshots, but when I opened up the captures app again they still showed on Xbox live.

    I have hard restarted my console and everything, wondering if anyone had any ideas or advice. Thanks!

    Microsoft, please help Red Candle Games re-release Devotion.

    Earlier today, Red Candle Games, a Taiwanese developer, tweeted that GOG would be helping them re-release Devotion on Dec 18th, after almost two years of it being wiped from the internet due to a controversy surrounding a secret image in the game which criticized China's premier, Xi Jinping. But just a few hours later, GOG balked on their decision, citing "messages from gamers" about the game.

    Devotion has been praised as one of the best horror games of 2019, and one of the best in years. It's made by a talented, dedicated team of indie developers who dare to talk about difficult issues. Their first game, Detention), was about the "White Terror" (equivalent to the U.S. Red Scare, but worse) period of martial law in Taiwan, and Devotion similarly takes place during the 80s in Taiwan, and explores the social climate of the time.

    In the last few years, we've seen many major gaming companies and businesses such as Blizzard kowtow to the Chinese Communist Party, censoring games or punishing players who dated to criticize China by talking about democracy and human rights. I think a lot of gamers are starting to get sick of it, and Microsoft making a stand would restore confidence in a lot of us. Red Candle Games also deserves this chance! After the initial controversy in 2019, they were dropped by their publisher, and many companies and people in the region refused to work with them. Detention recently had an excellent film adaptation, but I doubt it was enough to keep the company afloat. Please, please give them a chance.

    You can only own 3 games which do you pick?

    If right now you had to delete and sell every game you own except 3 which 3 would you hold onto? Now just for the sake of this discussion let's say it'll only be for the next year and if it's an online game you won't have to worry about low player counts or anything like that affecting the experience.

    Series S for a few months, then Series X?

    I can't buy a Series X currently because it's sold out, and already ordered a Series S. Now that I heard of xCloud, I am torn between using xCloud on my tablet for a few months, or using the Series S for a few months, then selling it for a Series X to play in 4k. Please tell me your opinion :) Edit: I currently don't own any console

    Trying to figure out how to play together

    Here is the situation, me and my wife are trying to play Ark together, I play on the PC while she plays on the Xbox. I have the game downloaded under my account with Xbox ultimate. We used to be able to play together with her signed in to her own account (no Xbox gold) for months, but now after upgrading to the new series X it's saying she needs to upgrade to play online, even after setting the Xbox as the home console.
