So I started spamming f5 about one minute out. Popped into stock, normal checkout flow worked flawlessly. They said they put in a whole bunch of anti-bot logic recently, and it appears to have worked. Only downside is that I did not get the option for All-Access during checkout. So anyway, if you need a next gen, id try walmart, it seems to be the easiest for humans to succeed. Now to retroactively get permission from my wife. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 17 Dec 2020 06:34 AM PST I know this is weird: I want to give my Series X away, but I don't want to indignify people by, for example, starting a reddit thread that turns into a pity competition. …With that said, I totally want it to go to whoever would be most helped, sick 8yo or otherwise. Any good ideas on how to do it? For example, good charities in the NYC area that provide gifts to kids most in need? I'm willing to pay postage anywhere in the USA if it goes to a (provably) good home. Would love ideas. --- PS: To be clear, I don't mean this as a PICK ME! thread. I'd love to be able to make this a great holiday gift for somebody, but I don't want to have 5,000 people on reddit competing in a pity-off. PPS: Why give it away —> I got lucky with a Series X pre-order, and thought "sure, why not". Some people can handle alcohol, some can't. Turns out I have a similar relationship with gaming. Posted: 17 Dec 2020 12:57 PM PST I'm really upset, I had got some Xbox gift cards for my birthday and was waiting for the Christmas sale to use, but my account was backed by someone in another country and they gifted themselves games using my whole balance. I talked to support and got my account secure now but they said they couldn't help with that and I had to submit a refund request which I did. Has anyone else got their money back from this? They can clearly see from sign in history it's someone in another country, also they used fake emails and most likely just redeemed the codes to their own account by viewing the code. Maybe they're waiting for a new Bond to be announced. Posted: 17 Dec 2020 01:20 PM PST I realize this might not be the most popular idea, but anyway: so I ordered the Series S and its arriving tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it. However I really don't like the white and I considered just spray painting it. I've taken a look at a few instruction videos and taking it apart seems easy enough (already got a suitable kit). Has anyone already tried it? I was just planning to directly spray a few layers of color on the material, without a primer or a finishing coat. | Cyberpunk downloaded but I didn’t buy it Posted: 17 Dec 2020 10:02 AM PST As the title says I did not buy cyberpunk, I do not own the game but it downloaded onto my device anyway and when I click it it asks if I own the game. Of course I don't, I didn't buy it, but why did it download in the first place? So confused! Edit: first and only owner, I did not buy this game (confirmed in order history), and I do not remember pressing anything to download like a demo or anything, was that even offered?? The file that was downloaded was only 15gb which made me think that a cyberpunk demo was downloaded onto everyone's console, like U2 did that one time on Apple Music, but I genuinely have no idea. Even though the last console I owned was an N64, I will manage to do all the plug this lead into that socket kind of practical setup; but what I wanted to ask you guys is whether there was a way of resetting the Xbox for a new user without erasing his progress/saves? Is it just a matter of getting a new SD card or using a different file on his external hard-drive? Or does the act of setting up as a new user effectively erase 'him' from the console, something which I'd like to avoid. All tips gratefully received - thanks in advance! [link] [comments] | ||

But once chrismas is over, id imagine alot of the hype will die down, and it will be easier to find them in stock. Has MS said anything about increasing production in 2021? Or anything of the sorts? I really dont want to go through another situation that was the Nintendo Switch in April/May. Ive had a run of good luck with the PS5, and im hoping my streak continues with the Series X lol. | Posted: 17 Dec 2020 08:24 AM PST hi guys, Im thinking of changing from ps4 to the series s, only as a temp before the prices of main consoles drops abit and more games come out, im not set on either ps5 or series x, it largely depends what sort of exclusives they plan to do. As of now i have a 1080p 60hz TV, with general plan to get the series s as a temp lets say 6 months - year and then switch. anyone got a similar plan or is this plan is more faffing around and not worth it ?
