    Warning about trying to download ea play games with game pass

    So right now on xbox if you go to the microsoft store while having game pass, the ea play subscription will say "owned or installed". I feel like I'm not the only person who had this problem so I'll explain.

    Right now if you have game pass you can DOWNLOAD ea play games. You can't play them yet, they will be able to be played November 10 when ea play is OFFICIALLY added to game pass. I woke up at like 6 today and was so happy I could install games like Madden 25, Mirror's Edge, Nba live 19, etc. Just for Madden to finish and it say "you're too early".

    This post was just a warning for anyone having trouble. :)

    Also I believe they are doing this so that we can get a headstart on downloads, not a bad idea....

    I'll get right into it, can I use my existing Seagate 2 TB external hard drive on the next gen consoles and will I realistically get any negative effects besides slower loading times? I'd prefer to buy the S because of the price but you can go through 512 gb pretty quickly. So if I'm going to have to buy the 1 TB expansion card anyway I might as well cough up the extra 200 and go straight with the X since it already has 1 TB

    4K @ 60hz or 1080P @120hz?

    Hey folks, I have 2 choices of where to hook up my XSX. I have a 50" 1080P tv with a 120hz refresh rate (v fancy when I got it way back when) and a 43" 4K tv with a 60hz refresh rate. Any ideas on which one would preform better? Current gen looks good/similar on both to my old eyes FWIW

    I have a preorder on MS but no money has been taken and order is still pending. It seems from various sources that most people who preordered through MS have been charged now, so I am starting to wonder if my order wont be fulfilled. What are the chances of increased allocatiom to other retail outlets on 10th?

    Trying to figure out which way to go for next gen console. This is a tough gen.

    I probably wont end up getting both since i already have a pc and a switch. But id like to get one of the consoles to hook to my 4k tv for single player games. I have a good pc but injust dont like playing single player games or non keyboard games on it.

    I got a ps4 last gen because i chose early and at the beginning of that gen the xbox was not in a good place. But since phil spencer took over the xbox has just looked better and better.

    I havent liked any of the ps4 prestige exclusives or whatever played about 4 hours of god of war, maybe 5 of horizon didnt even buy last of us or ghosts of tsushima i just hate those open world action rpg collectathon super serious games. I likenghe more light hearted action game games. Or the more focused rpg rpgs like wasteland pillars of eternity stuff.

    So i guess my question is with games jumping to 70 dollars next gen how is game pass? Ans also does microsoft do the deep discount sales like sony does every once and a while? Also how is phil on getting japanese games over mocrosoft getting pso over is a big reason xbox is looking so good to. And have yalls xboxes been dependable? I went thru 2 ps4s last gen. Also im wondering which console has more power seems like xbox but i seen alot of youtube videos saying ps5 has special rdna 3 stuff i doubt it matters either way though they both seem like beasts.

    As a side note it shouldnt matter but boy i hate the way the ps5 looks, and i actually really like the design of the series x.

    Sorry for the rambling its just a tough choice cus both consoles look good.

    Hi,

    I have pre ordered a XSX from GAME UK via Xbox All Access. Ive had the below email stating that GAME know i have preordered it and will be taking payment "in a few days" but i havent been charged. I have spoken to Klana (finance company) and they have stated Game havent taken payment from them for my payment plan to begin.

    Im wondering if anyone in the UK who pre pordered using the Xbox All Access plan have either been charged or any further notification of your order? Theres 8 days to go and im too excited to be left in the dark lol

    EDIT: Game have sent a statement out regarding collection pre orders stating more people will be contacted tomorrow.

    Never owner a gaming console

    Hey guys,

    As the title says I have never owned a gaming console myself. I have played in a few PS and Xboxes of my friends. I grew up in india where buying a console for playing was not a thing you ask parents. Finally I am well settled in Europe and earn good enough to spend a bit on my entertainment. Would you guys suggest me to buy series X or S console the new ones or even PS5. I am a casual gamer I have like 2-3 hrs every day on an average free when I can play.

    Looking to buy a wired xbox controller.

    I currently own an old wired xbox 360 controller that I use for my PC, but the wire is starting to break down and right now it's only working in certain positions. I found some off-brand PDP wired controllers that look the same as the actual xbox one controller, and I wanted to ask if anybody owns a PDP controller, and if they are any different from an original xbox one controller. A PDP controller is around 3 times cheaper than an original xbox one controller and it's wired, which for me is a benefit. I don't own an xbox, so I only want to use these for my PC.     I'd assume they'd do 2 rounds of sales for launch day. One at midnight for the hardcore people that are camping out for the release, and another round later in the day for people that can't get a day off and have to wait after their shift at their job to order. I think around 5pm PT. Does anyone know if this will be happening?
