    Finally my first Xbox 360 after all this time! But it's never too late, right? :D

    Xbox 360 Elite 120gb, picked up for 25$ CAD + 2 controllers + games = 65$ CAD total. Took everything apart, cleaned, added new thermal paste and its working pretty well! Very happy to find this in such great condition :)

    For the records, I LOVE the OG Xbox...but Sony got its claws into me on the PS3 because of the Blu-Ray player, and I never bought a 360.

    Just picked up my first - a Jasper, in really nice condition...and I'm stoked. This is a great console.

    Trying to connect my 360 to a surround sound system

    I've recently been blowing the dust off my 360 and been playing KOTOR and Gears, I've spent the last few hours trying to figure out how to connect it to my sound bar and surround sound. It just seems like it doesn't register the difference between audio and video. Any suggestions on a different system that will work for it or what I should do?

    Do games from XBL run the same or faster/slower from the external USB HDD compared to internal HDD? As my internal HDD is not being recognised anymore, checked cables etc, all work fine, but HDD is not being picked up.

    Any help with this would be nice please.

    My internal HDD is not being picked up by my xbox, its an official 320GB xbox 360 HDD, but does not pick up on my 360 Slim, the internal 4GB MU is picked up, and anything attached to the USB ports is also picked up, when I hook my internal HDD up to the USB on the xbox, its picking up but needs formatting. So i know its working fine.

    Any ideas please, I have opened my xbox up and checked the cables, but they are all seated and connected just fine.

    Xbox 360 won't connect to Live, but was working fine yesterday...

    I've been watching Netflix on my Xbox 360, and today it would not load and said I need a connection to Xbox Live. I tested the Xbox Live Connection and it says "connected" for Network and Internet, but Failed under Xbox Live.
    It was working fine yesterday and our internet is working fine everywhere else. There have been no changes, so I don't know why it won't work.

    Any help?

    hey guys i was just wondering if anyone could tell me why my xbox 360 (refurbished and second hand) has a red dot showing on the turn on button. ive only had this console for a few months and it glitched out a few days ago while i was playing alice madness returns on it. i tried taking the av cables and stuff in and out from the back and it is still red, anyone got any tips for me than other pulling it apart then back together?

    If anyone knows how to fix this error it loads up my recently purchased spider man web of shadows and I get this error every time yet the game loads in the background and it says that my new copy of shattered dimensions isn’t recognized
