    I miss my 360

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 04:49 PM PST

Anybody know if Microsoft still even bothers to repair 360s? Or any recommendations on how to fix the dang ol' disc tray? My refurbished, Gamestop bought, elite 360 that has been through so much of my early adulthood crapped out on me 3 years ago. I miss it. And it's all because if the damn disc tray. Glad that's not an issues with the One X... Anyway, anybody know what to do?

PS: when the hell is Max Payne 3 gonna be backwards compatible? Again, why I miss my 360. That and all my old saves.

    Question concerning Xbox live

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 07:28 PM PST

My friend and I are both finally able to get back to gaming. We just want to make sure: is there a difference between an xbox live card for XB1 and Xbox 360? The cards would work for both correct, considering it's the same account? Thanks!

Help. Sis gets 2 red rings

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 05:07 PM PST

My adult sister plays an xbox 360. Games on the drive, no disks.

She now regularly has 2 red rings and it shuts itself off.

Can she get it repaired free or cheap?

Can she buy a replacement system that works at a low price?

    Any helpful thoughts?

Is it possible to keep some patches for 360 games while deleting others?

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 02:25 PM PST

I ask because i've been considering replaying GTAIV and Episodes from Liberty City since I have a physical copy of it, but I heard that a bunch of songs got removed from the game a couple of years ago due to licenses expiring, so I was thinking of playing my physical version unpatched so I could hear all the original songs, but then I remembered all the problems I had with that game when it first came out(it was crashing and freezing bad enough that there were multiple reports of it bricking 360 consoles) before it got patched and I certainly don't want to risk that happening again, so I was wondering if it was at all possible to download the patches for GTAIV and then delete the patch that removed the songs but keep all the other patches?

Xbox 360 for Netflix and Youtube - bad idea?

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 05:37 AM PST

    Hi!

I've recently taken my xbox 360 out of storage, because i wanted to have something to watch netflix and youtube on my television at my parent's house when i'm returning there from college every once in a while. I connected the xbox, updated the system software and downloaded the most current versions of each app.

Everything worked fine, until I started Netflix and put on a show. Somehow, it's only in 720p, which doesn't look as good as i remember it to be. Also, Youtube just doesn't want to start, and displays a error message (something along the lines of 'there is a problem with youtube, please try again later'. on my phone and xbox1, it just works)

There seems to be a lot of conflicting information online, so i thought i'd ask the experts and enthusiasts here: Can Netflix run in 1080p on a Xbox 360? And was Youtube discontinued on it? Or am i missing something?

    Help with older game

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 05:39 AM PST

A few months back I bought Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 because I had so much fun playing the first one years ago and thought I'd check out the sequel.

During the first mission there's a point where the game bugs after a cut scene and my character is in the wrong map with no way out or forward.

Thought this might be a good place to ask for help. Anyone have any ideas?

Is Ninja Gaiden Black (original Xbox) still worth playing?

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 10:03 AM PST

Was thinking of picking this one up as I've been into Team Ninja games recently. Is it still a game worth playing in 2020? I see that there is a more updated version for PS3, a system I don't own. I was thinking I'd get a PS5 later this year and with backwards compatibility maybe I should just wait ... ?

Question regarding the laser in the disc drive of a 360

    Posted: 12 Jan 2020 01:08 AM PST

It's currently 4 in the morning as I type this up on mobile but let me cut straight to the point.

I have an Xbox 360 slim. I also happen to have an OG fat 360. Is there an possibility I can salvage the laser from the OG 360 and replace the laser in the Slim, or do I have to search and find a specific laser in order to replace it?
