Posted: 25 Aug 2020 04:09 AM PDT I've always been a "gamer" but the Xbox 360 will always be the console that really made me appreciate and enjoy gaming once again. I've mentioned many times that the primary reason I purchased an Xbox One S was for the backwards compatibility with my 360 library. My 360 Slim was given to a family friend and is actually still going but I couldn't turn down a Black Friday offer a couple of years ago for a brand new One S for £140. I'm probably still putting as many hours in to the 360 games as I ever did and in all fairness, nothing about this new generation of consoles is appealing to me. Sure we've got better graphics and 4k resolution etc. etc. but gameplay will always be the most important to me. So, 15 years after it was released, what keeps you coming back to the 360? Do you see yourself upgrading in the near future, if at all? [link] [comments] | ||

Turned it on, the old user's account was still logged in and there were TONS of games downloaded on the 250gb HDD. Awesome, right? Then about 30 mins in, it Red Ringed. I've tried everything to get it to work again, but it just won't come back to life. If I buy another 360 s and pop that hard drive into it, will I be able to just start playing those games off the hard drive? I don't know the old user's account or Anything, so logging into Xbox live with it would be impossible. If I can't save those games, I'm gonna force the seller to give me a refund. If I can, I'll call it a score- 60 bucks for all of the big titles I wanted to buy anyway. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 25 Aug 2020 11:35 AM PDT yes i know it's 2020, but i've been wanted to use my old 360 and it's never been able to connect to xbox live since i got it, i got it probably around 2015, and i can't connect it to the internet or update it or anything, every time i download an update i get an error code, i get nothing useful looking it up, anyways, is there a way i can reset the xbox and that will fix it, or anyway it can connect to the internet, thanks :) [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 25 Aug 2020 02:31 PM PDT I have 2 profiles on my XBOX 360, let's just call them profile A and profile B. Profile A is where I have a 95% completed campaign of NFS MW and profile B is where I have only a 1% completed campaign. Today as I entered the game I noticed that I'm on profile B but instead of leaving the game and then switching to profile A I decided to do the switch mid game but what happened next is the strangest thing I've ever seen, the 1% progress of profile B got duplicated and that duplica became attached to profile A so that whether I sign in with profile A or B I always end up with the 1% progress which was originally only on profile B. The 95% progress is nowhere to be seen but I checked out the achievements list and it's still the way it was (33 of 46) so I'm guessing the progress is still there......somewhere. So please if you have any ideas let me know, if I really did lose that progress then it's gonna be the most disappointing moment in my gaming history, cause I worked really hard for it. Posted: 25 Aug 2020 11:15 AM PDT When trying to copy forza motorsport 3 and 4's saves for safekeeping onto my Xbox live gold cloud and my sandisk cruzer blade USB stick, each time I try though I get the error of "this item can't be copied. If you want, you can move it." everything else works, such as the design catalog and the photos. How do I force it to copy anyway? Moving it and trying to copy back to the hard drive only causes the same error. [link] [comments] | ||
