    Huge long shot but I bought a Halo 3 Xbox 360 today with a cracked faceplate and missing USB cover. Does anyone by any chance have a parts version of this console and is willing to sell me the Faceplate?

    Something odd happened.

    So me and my friend were playing Skate 3 over Xbox Live's servers. We were having fun doing Freeskate and the like, when all of a sudden, my friend's Xbox crashes. He comes back online, and explains to me he got this really bizarre error he had never seen before. I'm asking here to see if anyone knows what happened here. He managed to get a picture and send it to me over Discord.

    Best Games to Own on the 360?

    Just picked up a 360 S today because I missed the games and the UI. I already own Halo 3 & 4, as well as Metro 2033 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. What are some good games to pick up for the 360? (Preferably at least a little populated, if online.)

    I can open it with a card but it's awkward and I just want to press the button and it opens like it's meant to.. any tips to fix it properly?

    What do the parts of the 360 serial number actually mean?

    I a forum post which claims the 360's serial number is made up of the following sections

    the serial number is formatted (LNNNNNN YWWFF)

    L the number of the production line within the factory,
    NNNNNN the number of the Xbox within this week.
    Y the last digit of the production year,
    WW the number of the week of the production year
    FF is the code of the factory (02: Mexico, 03: Hungary, 05: China, 06: Taiwan),

    I initially had no reason to doubt this, but I've since repaired a Trinity console with a serial ending 09. Does anyone actually know how to decode the serial?
