    So who remembers back when we didn't have social media to find out a game was good or not. I remember when I either walk into game stop pick up a game looked at the back cover to decide if it look interesting or not. Then played the game and that's how I decided if it was good great bad or ok. That or a friend would tell me about a game I needed to try.

    I think with social media people will judge and a game before it comes out and a lot of people will already have a mind set on what the game will be when it first launches. So even if the game turns out great, everyone will just call it trash anyway instead of giving it a proper rating.

    Where to find an Original hard-WIRED Xbox One controller

    Hi !

    I've been searching for an original (non 3rd party) fixed wire xbox controller.

    I use it mainly for my PC, and those finnicky wireless usb ports break within 6 months of usage.

    Checked the official xbox accessories store, only to find wireless original models, and only 2 hardwired models, but both are 3rd party aftermarket products.

    Am I missing sonething ? I feel like there used to be fixed wired Xbox one controllers around stores 2-3 years ago, yet I can't find any to buy, apart from used ones on ebay ect.

    I got an Nvidia Shield TV and stumbled on xCloud by accident. A happy little accident I might add.
    It's crazy that I'm able to play FH4, Halo and Gears on what is essentially a fancy set-top box, and aside from a few hiccups it's a smooth experience. It appears to be full HD, at least I can't spot any artifacting, and frames are solid as well, aside from the aforementioned hiccups (which are rare).

     
    I wouldn't recommend it for Halo multiplayer, the inputlag (small as it is) still puts you at a huge disadvantage, but FH4 online is no problem.
    I can only imagne how big this will become once it releases into the wild, and will be available on Android smartphones everywhere.

     
    I've been so happy with xCloud, that I'm making the jump from PS4 to XSX when the time comes.

    Battery corrosion in controller = lost cause?

    I have a controller that had batteries in it for a while, but I mainly used it plugged into a pc. I tried to connect it via bluetooth last night and it didnt power on (still works fine while plugged in). After checking the batteries, they seemed to have corroded a tad and left residue on the negative (-) battery connections in the controller. I have tried to clean it with alcohol solution, water, etc but nothing seems to be working as it still wont power on with fresh batteries... has anyone else dealt with this? or should I just buy a new controller?

    How come like EVREY 5 minutes or some stuff I see someone post "My controllers acting weird," or some other hardware problem. I've been thinking of getting a Xbox series S (If that even will exist,) and have also only broken about 5 or so controllers my entire life. Are the controllers flimsy, and how can I help preserve one of these controllers (If I do end up getting a Xbox console)

    Unable to save capture 4K footage on external device. Please help.

    Hi all, I am gaming on the X1X and I just got a 3.0 USB drive so I can capture 4K/HDR footage to use for videos and such. I am facing two problems however, so if anyone could shed some light on this, I would be immensely grateful:

    1. I have correctly formatted the USB, and I do get the option to record for an hour, and I can indeed find my clips on the USB. However, when I go into the Capture and Streaming options, it doesn't let me change "Storage location" from Internal to External. Any ideas?

    2. Even though I've selected 4K/HDR as my capture quality, the recorded clips still end up being 1080p only on my USB. This is my primary concern, so any help please?

    I decided to help someone with the co-op portion of Portal 2 but when I sign in after the 360 emulator starts up on my One S it won't connect to the internet. I figured someone on the internet would have a solution.

    Question about Xbox game pass Ultimate

    So I'm getting the deal again for xbox game pass Ultimate again for $1 for the 1st month. What I'm wondering is last time xbox did this deal last time which I took advantage of and I gotten 3 months xbox game pass Ultimate for $1. Now I have about 2 years of xbox live gold if I sign up again, will I have about 2 years of Ultimate?
