    Advice on Restoring Gamertag?

    This is a longshot, but I'm fairly desperate.

    I've had xbox live since xbox live has been a thing. And all the while, I've had the same gamertag (the same as my reddit handle). I've never changed it. The gamertag started off as a childish joke (a verbose way of saying "the fart that changed the world"), but over the past 15 years it's grown into part of my identity. I game a ton. Even real world friends of mine sometimes refer to me as Quake as a result of gaming with me so often.

    Earlier today, I was playing Destiny 2 when I get a message informing me of an enforcement action against me. I dig into it, and my gamertag has been forcibly changed due to my old one being a violation of community standards. A fifteen year old gamertag is suddenly offensive? So I write back, making my case. And shortly after, I am delighted to find that my appeal was granted and my case overturned. The finding also informed me that I would need to manually change my gamertag back, that my account would be credited one free gamertag change, and that my old gamertag would be made available to me. Lovely!

    Except not. When I go to change my gamertag back, I am informed that my old gamertag is too many characters, as the new limit is 12 characters. I went through Xbox Support, who informed me that due to the new system gamertags must be 12 characters of less. I appealed emotionally, logically, and in the end... angrily. I'm not proud of it, but I lost my temper. I'm heartbroken and I'm furious, and as absurd and childish as it sounds (especially given all that's going on in the world right now), that gamertag has been with me and has been a part of me for a huge chunk of my life, and it means something to me. Now, through no fault of my own, Xbox took it away, said I could have it back, and then said its not a valid option anymore-- all within an hour's time.

    I've messaged Xbox's twitter, their Facebook, and I've screamed out the window in the vain hopes that someone capable of fixing my problem might hear. Now I'm out of ideas, posting here on reddit, looking for any and all advice. Maybe someone from xbox might see this and point me in the right direction. Perhaps a phone number to a more responsive support specialist? Even when I was on the phone, they told me no supervisors existed. I'm throwing everything at the wall here just to get back this little part of myself.

    I just want my name back.

    I don't know how to get rid of my synced data for sunset overdrive.

    I've tried going into manage game and add-ons but when I delete saved data it keeps the synced data and doesn't provide an option to get rid of both. Any ideas as to how I could restart the game?

    Xbox One S Controller Replacement

    On UPS it says that Microsoft Return Center has received my device, While I haven't received any emails from Microsoft saying they have received it and also on my account where it shows all the details it hasn't said it has arrived. It said it had arrived at 9:15 AM, It's now 11PM and I have heard nothing, Do I have to wait like a day for them to start reviewing it because at this point I feel like it has been stolen or lost.
