But reaching the second disc, I come across a point in the story where I have to enter a new zone, but every time I do the game dies and gives me a Disc Unreadable message. | Posted: 20 Jun 2020 12:14 PM PDT So, 2 days ago my Xbox 360 E red ringed on me, but I was able to recover it from death, and since then the dashboard kinda changed and it doesnt heat up that much. What could've happened? I'm nervous that an IC or transistor or other component could've burned or something. I'm In dashboard 2.0.17559.0 btw. And my guess of why the red ring could've happened is a short circuit, because I use an external hard drive and I have to move the cable for it to connect, and when I was moving the cable the red ring happened and after I turned off the console and unplugged the hard drive it still was happening.
