Posted: 07 Jan 2020 11:21 AM PST So I recently bought a Seagate 4 TB 3.0 USB external drive for my xbox. I was going to maybe start making youtube videos of some games I play. I got the external drive all set up to music and videos, but when I try to set the capture location as it, it says connect to the computer and make it NTFS. So I did that. I downloaded Tuxera on my Mac so that I can convert it to what I need to, and even after is have been converted to NTFS. Someone help I'm getting frustrated. [link] [comments] | ||

Right now, the game is still sitting in the hard drive. I was wondering if a buyer of my console would be able to link his account and run the game? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 08:48 AM PST (This is a bit long, but I am desperately trying to resolve this issue, please bear with me and give me some insight if you have) So I have been gaming in the same spot in my room with the same ISP / hardware for almost a decade without issue. A few months back, we had new neighbors move in next door and around the same time I started having major WiFi drops, making multiplayer games virtually unplayable. I dealt with it for weeks just banking on it getting better, but to no avail and it really began to drive me insane. Finally it was time to call Verizon and sort this issue out. I spent about two hours on the phone with a Verizon tech and they walked me through some basic troubleshooting steps after factory resetting my router remotely. Ultimately, we ended up changing the router's channel from "automatic" to "1" and that seemed to do the trick as I did not experience a single lag / disconnect for about 4 months following this call. Fast forward to two days ago, there was a major power outage in my area (transformer outside of my house literally exploded) and we didn't have power for about two hours. Once the power came back, it seems the same exact WiFi issues I had months prior had returned as I am having the same exact sporadic drops I mentioned before. The router channel was reset to automatic due to the power outage, so I went into my router and changed it back to 1 thinking that would fix it, but it has not. I got back on the phone with Verizon and the tech was telling me that I should just buy a new router and that will "100% solve my problem" but they didn't identify what the route of the issue even was, and the diagnostic test of my router didn't have any red flags. I feel like it's not my router and it's a service issue on their end. Initially they tried to sell me on options of a new routers / mesh networks and almost convinced me that was my only option for getting my wireless back on track, which ended up being totally false. I'm not sure what to do at this point and I am open to any and all suggestions, please help me get back on track! I am wondering if anyone has had a similar situation and can shed some light. Posted: 06 Jan 2020 05:55 PM PST I pre-ordered an Elite Series 2 back in June when they first became available to pre-order on Amazon. The first controller arrived on November 5th. It was broken out of the box. The A button sometimes stuck in, and it only worked intermittently. The sticking issue stopped after some use, but the intermittent issue did not. I returned it for a replacement. The second controller arrived on November 17th. The RB button would often register 2 presses when it was only pressed once. Again, another issue right out of the box. I returned it for a replacement. The third controller arrived on November 26th. Right out of the box, AGAIN, it had an A button that only worked intermittently. After using it for a few weeks, it has also developed the issue where RB often registers 2 presses when only pressed once. To add insult to injury, Amazon took £159 out of my bank account yesterday because they said that I had not returned one of the faulty controllers, even though I had and they had emailed me (at the time) to say that they'd received it, so I had to waste 25 minutes talking to their support team and now I have to wait 5-7 working days to get my £159 back. I JUST WANT A CONTROLLER THAT WORKS, MICROSOFT. PLEASE. I know that people have got ones that work fine, but I have spoken to so many people that have been through anywhere from 2-5 of these things already that there's no way this is just down to people being unlucky. It's not as if it's even advanced functions of the controller that are causing issues in most causes - it's often down to one or more of the face buttons sticking or only working intermittently, or RB, for some reason, registering 2 presses when it's only pressed once. These seem to be the most common issues, although there are others. [link] [comments] |
